Peshitta NT (literal)
PesNT(lit)
[1]Therfore my brethren beloued & longed for, my ioy and crowne, so continue in the Lorde ye beloued [1]Therefore my brethren beloved and dear and my joy and my crown in this way stand in our Lord my beloved
[2]I pray Euodias, and beseche Syntyches, yt they be of one accorde in the Lorde [2]From Euodia seek I and from Suntyka that one mind shall be to them in our Lord
[3]Yea, and I beseche thee also faythfull yockefelowe, helpe those [women] which laboured with me in the Gospell, and with Clement also, and with other my labour felowes, whose names [are] in the booke of lyfe [3]Also of you request I son of my yoke true that you will be helping these who labor with me in the Gospel with Qlemis and with others my helpers those whose names are written in the book of life
[4]Reioyce in the Lorde alway, and agayne I say reioyce [4]Rejoice in our Lord in every time and again say I rejoice
[5]Let your pacient mynde be knowen vnto all men: The Lorde [is] at hande [5]And your humility let be known to every person our Lord near is
[6]Be carefull for nothyng: but in all thynges, let your petition be manifest vnto God, in prayer and supplication with geuyng of thankes [6]Anything do not be concerned for but in every time in prayer and in supplication and with thanksgiving your requests let be known before Alaha
[7]And the peace of God, which passeth all vnderstandyng, shall kepe your heartes and myndes through Christe Iesus [7]And the peace of Alaha that which is greater than every mind will keep your hearts and your minds by Ieshu The Messiah
[8]Furthermore brethren, whatsoeuer, thynges are true, whatsoeuer thynges (are) honest, whatsoeuer thynges (are) iuste, whatsoeuer thynges (are) pure, whatsoeuer thynges pertayne to loue, whatsoeuer thynges (are) of honest report: If there be any vertue, & yf there be any prayse, thynke on these thynges [8]Therefore my brethren those things that are true and those that are pious and those that are righteous and those that are pure and those that are dear and those that are praiseworthy and those works of glory or of praise these things feed on
[9]Which ye haue both learned, and receaued, and hearde, and seene in me: Those thinges do, and the God of peace shalbe with you [9]These things that you have learned and you have received and you have heard and you have seen by me these do and The Alaha of peace shall be with you
[10]But I reioyce in the Lorde greatly, that nowe at the last you are reuiued againe to care for me, in ye wherin ye were also carefull, but ye lacked oportunitie [10]Greatly but I have rejoiced in our Lord that you have come to be concerned for what is mine just as that also concerned you were but not enabled you were
[11]I speake not because of necessitie. For I haue learned, in whatsoeuer estate I am, therwith to be content [11]Not was but because there was want to me said I I for I have learned that will be enough for me it anything that is to me
[12]I knowe howe to be lowe, and I knowe howe to exceade. Euery where & in all thynges I am instructed, both to be ful, and to be hungry, both to haue plentie, and to suffer neede [12]Know I to be humbled know I what it is also to abound in everything and in all things learn I also in fullness also in hunger in excess and in poverty
[13]I can do all thynges through Christe, which strengtheneth me [13]Because for all things am a match I in power by The Messiah Who empowers me
[14]Notwithstandyng, ye haue well done yt ye dyd communicate to my afflictions [14]However well you have done that you have shared my afflictions
[15]Ye Philippians knowe also, that in the begynnyng of the Gospell, when I departed fro Macedonia, no Church communicated to me, as concernyng geuyng and receauyng, but ye only [15]Know you but also you Philippians that in the beginning of the Gospel when I went out from Maqedonia not even one of the churches shared with me in an account receiving and giving but you only
[16]For euen in Thessalonica, ye sent once, & afterward agayne vnto my necessitie [16]That also to Thessaloniqa one time and two my necessities you sent to me
[17]Not that I desire a gyft, but I desire fruite aboundyng to your accompt [17]Not that gifts seek I but seek I that fruit may abound to you
[18]But I haue receaued al, & haue plentie. I was euen fylled after that I had receaued of Epaphroditus the thynges [which were sent] from you, an odoure of a sweete smel, a sacrifice acceptable, plesaunt to God [18]Everything I have received and there is abundance to me and full I am and I took all that you sent to me by Epaphroditus a fragrance sweet and sacrifice acceptable that pleases to Alaha
[19]My God shall supplie all your neede, through his riches in glorie, in Christe Iesus [19]And my Alaha shall satisfy all your needs according to His riches in the glory of Ieshu The Messiah
[20]Unto God and our father, be prayse for euermore. Amen [20]To Alaha but our Father is the glory and the honor to the eternity of eternities Amen
[21]Salute all the saintes in Christe Iesus. The brethren which are with me, greete you [21]Invoke the peace of all of them the holy ones who are in Ieshu The Messiah invoke your peace the brothers who are with me
[22]All the saintes salute you, most of all, they that are of Caesars housholde [22]Invoke your peace all of them holy ones especially these who from the house of Caesar
[23]The grace of our Lorde Iesu Christe [be] with you all. Amen [23]The grace of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah be with all of you Amen
