[1]And the angelH4397 that talkedH1696[H8802] with me came againH7725[H8799], and wakedH5782[H8686] me, as a manH376 that is wakenedH5782[H8735] out of his sleepH8142, [1]And the angel that talked with me, came again and waked me, as a man that is raised out of his sleep,
[2]And saidH559[H8799] unto me, What seestH7200[H8802] thou? And I saidH559[H8799], I have lookedH7200[H8804], and behold a candlestickH4501 all of goldH2091, with a bowlH1531 upon the topH7218 of it, and his sevenH7651 lampsH5216 thereon, and sevenH7651 pipesH4166 to the sevenH7651 lampsH5216, which are upon the top thereofH7218: [2]And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold, a candlestick all of gold with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps therein, and seven pipes to the lamps, which were upon the top thereof.
[3]And twoH8147 olive treesH2132 by it, oneH259 upon the rightH3225 side of the bowlH1543, and the otherH259 upon the left side thereofH8040. [3]And two olive trees over it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
[4]So I answeredH6030[H8799] and spakeH559[H8799] to the angelH4397 that talkedH1696[H8802] with me, sayingH559[H8800], What are these, my lordH113? [4]So I answered, and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my Lord?
[5]Then the angelH4397 that talkedH1696[H8802] with me answeredH6030[H8799] and saidH559[H8799] unto me, KnowestH3045[H8804] thou not what these be? And I saidH559[H8799], No, my lordH113. [5]Then the angel that talked with me, answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord.
[6]Then he answeredH6030[H8799] and spakeH559[H8799] unto me, sayingH559[H8800], This is the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 unto ZerubbabelH2216, sayingH559[H8800], Not by mightH2428, nor by powerH3581, but by my spiritH7307, saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635. [6]Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Neither by an army nor strength, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
[7]Who art thou, O greatH1419 mountainH2022? beforeH6440 ZerubbabelH2216 thou shalt become a plainH4334: and he shall bring forthH3318[H8689] the headstoneH68[H7222] thereof with shoutingsH8663, crying, GraceH2580, grace unto itH2580. [7]Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt be a plain, and he shall bring forth the head stone thereof, with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
[8]Moreover the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came unto me, sayingH559,[H8800] [8]Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
[9]The handsH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216 have laid the foundationH3245[H8765] of this houseH1004; his handsH3027 shall also finishH1214[H8762] it; and thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] that the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971 me unto youH8804. [9]The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house: his hands shall also finish it, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
[10]For who hath despisedH936[H8804] the dayH3117 of small thingsH6996? for they shall rejoiceH8055[H8804], and shall seeH7200[H8804] the plummetH68[H913] in the handH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216 with those sevenH7651; they are the eyesH5869 of the LORDH3068, which run to and froH7751[H8789] through the whole earthH776. [10]For who hath despised the day of the small things? But they shall rejoice, and shall see the stone of tin in the hand of Zerubbabel: these seven are the eyes of the Lord, which go through the whole world.
[11]Then answeredH6030[H8799] I, and saidH559[H8799] unto him, What are these twoH8147 olive treesH2132 upon the rightH3225 side of the candlestickH4501 and upon the left side thereofH8040? [11]Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right and upon the left side thereof?
[12]And I answeredH6030[H8799] againH8145, and saidH559[H8799] unto him, What be these twoH8147 oliveH2132 branchesH7641 which throughH3027 the twoH8147 goldenH2091 pipesH6804 emptyH7324[H8688] the golden oil out of themselvesH2091? [12]And I spake moreover, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches, which through the two golden pipes empty themselves into the gold?
[13]And he answeredH559[H8799] me and saidH559[H8800], KnowestH3045[H8804] thou not what these be? And I saidH559[H8799], No, my lordH113. [13]And he answered me, and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord.
[14]Then saidH559[H8799] he, These are the twoH8147 anointedH3323 onesH1121, that standH5975[H8802] by the LordH113 of the whole earthH776. [14]Then said he, These are the two olive branches, that stand with the ruler of the whole earth.
