[1]ܘܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܪܘܼܒܹܝܠ: ܫܸܡܥܘܿܢ: ܠܹܘܝܼ: ܝܼܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܐܝܼܣܵܟ݂ܵܪ: ܙܒ̣ܘܿܠܘܿܢ. [1]These are the sons of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
[2]ܘܕ݂ܵܢ: ܘܝܵܘܣܸܦ: ܘܒܸܢܝܵܡܹܝܢ: ܢܲܦ̮ܬܵܠܝܼ: ܓܵܕ݂: ܐܵܫܹܝܪ. [2]Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
[3]ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܥܝܼܪ: ܘܐܘܿܢܵܢ: ܘܫܸܠܝܵܐ. ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܬܠܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܸܬ̣̱ܝܼܠܸܕ݂ܘ ܠܹܗ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܲܬ̣ܫܘܿܥ ܟܢܲܥܢܵܝܬܵܐ ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܥܝܼܪ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܒܝܼܫ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܩܲܛܠܹܗ. [3]The sons of Judah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest son of Judah was evil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
[4]ܘܬ̣ܵܡܵܪ ܟܲܠܬܹܗ ܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܹܗ ܠܦܲܪܨ: ܘܲܠܙܲܪܚ: ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܝܼܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ ܚܲܡܫܵܐ. [4]And Tamar his daughter in law bear him Perez, and Zerah: so all the sons of Judah were five.
[5]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܦܲܪܨ: ܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ: ܘܚܵܡܘܿܠ. [5]The sons of Perez, Hezron and Hamul.
[6]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܙܲܪܚ: ܙܲܡܪܝܼ: ܘܐܵܬ̣ܵܢ: ܘܗܵܡܵܢ: ܘܟܲܠܟܵܠ: ܘܕܲܪܕܵܥ. ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܚܲܡܫܵܐ. [6]The sons also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were five in all.
[7]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܟܲܪܡܝܼ: ܥܵܟ݂ܵܪ ܥܵܟ݂ܘܿܪܹܗ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܕܐܲܥܠܝܼ ܒܚܸܪܡܵܐ. [7]And the son of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
[8]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܵܬ̣ܵܢ: ܥܲܙܲܪܝܵܐ. [8]The son also of Ethan, Azariah.
[9]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ ܕܐܸܬ̣̱ܝܼܠܸܕ݂ܘ ܠܹܗ:ܪܲܚܡܵܐܹܝܠ: ܘܪܵܡ: ܘܣܲܠܒ̣ܝܼ. [9]And the sons of Hezron that were born unto him, Jerahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.
[10]ܘܪܵܡ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܥܲܡܝܼܢܵܕ݂ܵܒ̣. ܘܥܲܡܝܼܢܵܕ݂ܵܒ̣ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܢܸܚܫܘܿܢ ܪܲܒܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܝܼܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ. [10]And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon prince of the children of Judah,
[11]ܘܢܸܚܫܘܿܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܣܲܠܡܵܐ. ܘܣܲܠܡܵܐ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܒ̣ܵܥܵܙ. [11]And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
[12]ܘܒ̣ܵܥܵܙ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܥܘܿܒ̣ܝܼܕ݂: ܘܥܘܿܒ̣ܝܼܕ݂ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܝܼܫܲܝ. [12]And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
[13]ܘܐܝܼܫܲܝ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܒ̣ܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ ܠܐܹܠܝܲܒ̣: ܘܠܲܐܒ̣ܝܼܢܵܕ݂ܵܒ̣ ܬܸܢܝܵܢܵܐ: ܘܫܲܡܵܐ ܬܠܝܼܬ̣ܵܝܵܐ. [13]And Jesse begat his eldest son Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shammah the third,
[14]ܘܢܵܬ̣ܢܝܼܐܹܝܠ ܪܒ̣ܝܼܥܵܝܵܐ: ܘܕ݂ܵܪܝܼ ܚܡܝܼܫܵܝܵܐ. [14]Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
[15]ܘܐܘܿܨܘܿܡ ܫܬ̇ܝܼܬ̣ܵܝܵܐ: ܘܐܹܠܝܼܗܘܿ ܫܒ̣ܝܼܥܵܝܵܐ: ܘܕ݂ܵܘܝܼܕ݂ ܬܡܝܼܢܵܝܵܐ. [15]Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh.
[16]ܘܬܲܪܬܹ̇ܝܢ ܐܲܚ̈ܘܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ: ܨܘܿܪܝܼܵܐ ܘܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܥܸܠ. ܘܲܒ̣ܢܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܨܘܿܪܝܼܵܐ ܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܫܲܝ: ܘܝܘܿܐܵܒ̣: ܘܲܥܫܵܐܹܝܠ: ܬܠܵܬ̣ܵܐ. [16]Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel.
[17]ܘܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܥܸܠ ܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܥܲܡܣܵܐ. ܘܐܲܒ̣ܘܼܗܝ ܕܥܲܡܣܵܐ ܝܵܬܲܪ. [17]And Abigail bear Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether an Ishmaelite.
[18]ܘܟ݂ܵܠܵܒ̣ ܒܲܪ ܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܪܘܿܒ̣ܵܐ ܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ܬܹܗ: ܠܝܼܕ݂ܝܼܥܘܼܬ̣ ܘܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܒܢܹ̈ܝܗ̇: ܕܵܒ̣ܵܪ: ܐܵܫܹܝܪ: ܘܝܘܿܒ̣ܵܒ̣: ܘܐܲܕ̇ܘܿܢ. [18]And Caleb the son of Hezron begat Jerioth of Azubah his wife, and her sons are these, Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
[19]ܘܡܝܼܬܲܬ̤ ܥܪܘܿܒ̣ܵܐ. ܘܲܢܣܲܒ̣ ܠܹܗ ܟܵܠܵܒ̣ ܠܐܵܦܪܲܬ̤: ܘܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܹܗ ܠܚܘܿܪ. [19]And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bear him Hur.
[20]ܘܚܘܿܪ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܘܿܪܝܼ: ܘܐܘܿܪܝܼ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܒܲܨܠܝܼܐܹܝܠ. [20]And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
[21]ܘܒ̣ܵܬܲܪ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܥܲܠ ܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ ܥܲܠ ܒܲܪܬ̣ ܡܵܟ݂ܝܼܪ ܐܲܒ̣ܘܼܗܝ ܕܓܸܠܥܵܕ݂: ܘܢܲܣܒܵܗ̇. ܘܗ̤ܘ ܐܝܼܬ̣ܵܘܗܝ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܐ ܒܲܪ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܫܬ̇ܝܼܢ. ܘܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܬ̣ ܠܹܗ ܠܲܣܓ̣ܘܿܒ̣. [21]And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and took her when he was threescore year old and she bear him Segub.
[22]ܘܲܣܓ̣ܘܿܒ̣ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܝܵܐܝܼܪ. ܘܲܗ̤ܘܲܝ̈ ܠܹܗ ܥܸܣܪܝܼܢ ܘܲܬ̣ܠܵܬ̣ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܓܸܠܥܵܕ݂. [22]And Segub begat Jair, which had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23[No verse] [23]And Geshur with Aram took the towns of Jair from them, and Kenath and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
[24]ܘܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ: ܡܝܼܬ̣ ܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܟ݂ܵܠܵܒ̣ ܒܐܵܦܪܲܬ̣ ܘܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܬ̣ ܠܹܗ ܒܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ: ܐܹܫܬܵܘܝܼܪ ܐܲܒ̣ܘܼܗܝ ܕܲܬ̣ܩܘܿܥ. [24]And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephrathah, then Abijah Hezron's wife bear him also Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
[25]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܲܪܚ̄ܡܸܠ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ ܕܚܸܨܪܘܿܢ: ܐܵܪܵܡ: ܘܒܲܥܢܵܐ: ܘܐܵܪܵܢ: ܘܐܵܨܵܡ ܚܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. [25]And the sons of Jerahmeel the eldest son of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozem and Ahijah.
[26]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܬ̣ ܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ܬ̣ܵܐ ܐ̄̇ܚܪܹܬܵܐ ܠܝܲܪܚ̄ܡܸܠ: ܘܲܫܡܵܗ̇ ܥܸܛܪܵܐ: ܘܗ̤ܝ ܗܘ̤ܵܬ̣ ܐܸܡܹܗ ܕܐܘܿܢܝܼܡ. [26]Also Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
[27]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܵܪܵܡ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ ܕܝܲܪܚ̄ܡܸܠ: ܡܵܥܵܨ: ܘܢܵܒ̣ܝܼܢ: ܘܥܘܿܛܵܪ. [27]And the sons of Ram the eldest son of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin and Eker.
[28]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܘܿܢܝܼܡ: ܣܵܒ̣ܝܼ: ܘܝܘܿܕ݂ܵܥ. ܘܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܣܵܒ̣ܝܼ: ܢܵܕ݂ܵܒ̣: ܘܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܫܘܿܪ. [28]And the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
[29]ܘܲܫܡܵܗ̇ ܕܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ܬܹܗ ܕܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܫܘܿܪ: ܐܲܒ̣ܝܼܚܸܠ. ܘܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܹܗ ܠܐܲܚܒ̣ܵܢ ܘܲܠܡܘܿܠܝܼܕ݂. [29]And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abihail, and she bear him Ahban and Molid.
[30]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܢܵܕ݂ܵܒ̣: ܣܵܥܵܪ: ܘܲܦܠܵܪܝܼܡ. ܘܡܝܼܬ̣ ܣܵܥܵܕ݂ ܕܠܵܐ ܒܢܝܼ̈ܢ. [30]The sons also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
[31]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܲܦܠܵܪܝܼܡ: ܐܹܫܲܝܵܥܐ. ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܹܫܲܥܝܵܐ: ܫܘܿܫܲܢ. ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܫܘܿܫܲܢ: ܐܲܚܠܝܼ. [31]And the son of Appaim was Ishi, and the son of Ishi, Sheshan, and the son of Sheshan, Ahlai.
[32]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܘܿܝܵܕ݂ܵܥ ܐܲܚܘܼܗܝ ܕܣܵܒ̣ܝܼ: ܝܵܬܲܪ: ܘܝܘܿܢܵܬ̣ܵܢ. ܘܡܝܼܬ̣ ܝܵܬ̣ܵܪ ܕܠܵܐ ܒܢ̈ܝܼܢ. [32]And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai were Jether and Jonathan: but Jether died without children.
[33]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܘܿܢܵܬ̣ܵܢ: ܠܵܦܵܬ̣: ܘܐܘܿܙܵܐ. ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܲܪܚ̄ܡܸܠ. [33]And the sons of Jonathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
[34]ܘܠܵܐ ܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܠܫܘܿܫܲܢ ܒܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ ܕܸܟ݂ܪܹ̈ܐ: ܐܸܠܵܐ ܒܢܵـ̈ـܬ̣ܵܐ ܢܸܩ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܵܐ. ܘܲܠܫܘܿܫܲܢ ܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܠܹܗ ܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܚܲܕ݂ ܚܲܬ̣ܢܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܡܸܨܪܵܐ: ܘܲܫܡܹܗ ܝܲܪܕܵܚܵܐ. [34]And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant that was an Egyptian named Jarha.
[35]ܘܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܠܹܗ ܫܘܿܫܲܢ ܒܲܪܬܹܗ ܠܐܲܢ̄ܬܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܝܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܹܗ ܠܥܲܬ̇ܝܼ. [35]And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife, and she bear him Attai.
[36]ܘܥܲܬ̇ܝܼ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܢܵܬ̣ܵܢ ܘܢܵܬ̣ܵܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܕ݂ܵܒ̣ܝܼܪ. [36]And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
[37]ܘܕ݂ܵܒ̣ܝܼܪ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܵܦܝܼܠ: ܘܐܵܦܝܼܠ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܝܘܿܒ̣ܵܒ̣. [37]And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
[38]ܘܝܘܿܒ̣ܵܒ̣ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܝܵܗܘܿ ܘܝܵܗܘܿ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܥܲܙܲܪܝܵܐ. [38]And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
[39]ܘܥܲܙܲܪܝܵܐ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܚܵܠܵܨ ܘܚܵܠܵܨ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܸܠܥܲܣܵܐ. [39]And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
[40]ܘܐܸܠܥܲܣܵܐ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܣܲܡܣܝܼ ܘܣܲܡܣܝܼ ܐܲܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܫܵܠܘܿܡ. [40]And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,
[41]ܘܫܵܠܘܿܡ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܸܠܩܲܡܝܵܐ. ܘܐܸܠܩܲܡܝܵܐ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܹܠܝܼܫܡܲܥ. [41]And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
[42]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܟ݂ܵܠܵܒ̣ ܐܲܚܘܼܗܝ ܕܝܲܪܚ̄ܡܸܠ: ܐܹܠܝܼܫܡܝܼ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ: ܗ̤ܘ ܐܲܒ̣ܘܼܗܝ ܕܙܝܼܦ. [42]Also the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha his eldest son, which was the father of Ziph: and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
[43]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܹܐܪܫܵܐ ܐܲܒ̣ܘܼܗܝ ܕܚܸܒ̣ܪܘܿܢ: ܩܘܿܪܚ: ܘܬܲܦܘܿܚ: ܘܲܪܩܸܡ: ܘܲܫܡܲܥ. [43]And the sons of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
[44]ܘܲܫܡܲܥ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܪܵܚܵܡ ܐܲܒ̣ܘܗܝ ܕܝܼܪܲܩܥܲܡ ܘܝܼܪܲܩܥܲܡ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܣܲܡܝܼ. [44]And Shema begat Raham the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45[No verse] [45]The son also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
[46]ܘܥܘܿܦܢܵܐ ܕܪܘܼܟ݂ܬܹ̇ܗ ܕܟ݂ܵܠܵܒ̣ ܝܸܠܕܲܬ̤ ܠܚܘܿܪܵܢ: ܘܚܘܿܪܵܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܓܵܘܙܵܢ. [46]And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bear Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begat Gazez.
47[No verse] [47]The sons of Jahdai were Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48[No verse] [48]Caleb's concubine Maachah bear Sheber and Tirhanah.
49[No verse] [49]She bear also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Caleb's daughter.
[50]ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܘ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܟ݂ܠܵܒ̣: ܒܲܪ ܚܘܿܪ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ ܕܐܵܦܪܲܬ̤. ܫܵܒ̣ܵܠ ܐܸܬ̣̱ܝܼܠܸܕ݂ ܒܩܘܼܪܝܲܬ̣ ܢܲܥܪܝܼܢ. [50]These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur the eldest son of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim.
[51]ܣܲܡܠܵܐ ܐܸܬ̣̱ܝܼܠܸܕ݂ ܒܒܹܝܬ̣ ܠܚܸܡ: ܐܵܒ̣ܝܼ ܐܸܬ̣̱ܝܼܠܸܕ݂ ܒܓ̣ܵܕ݂ܵܪ. [51]Salma the father of Beth-lehem , and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
[52]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܒܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ ܠܫܵܒ̣ܵܠ ܒܩܘܼܪܝܲܬ̣ ܢܲܥܪܝܼܢ: ܥܸܛܪܘܼܬ̣: ܝܘܿܒ̣ܵܠ. [52]And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons, and he was the overseer of half Hammenoth.
53[No verse] [53]And the families of Kirjath-jearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
[54]ܚܲܨܪܝܼ: ܣܦܲܪܝܲܡ: ܢܛܘܿܦܲܬ̣: ܣܲܡܠܵܐ: ܫܡܘܿܥܬ̣ܝܼܡ: ܫܟ݂ܵܒ̣: ܚܲܡܵܐ: ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܒܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ ܗܘ̤ܵܘ ܠܫܵܒ̣ܵܠ ܒܩܘܼܪܝܲܬ̣ ܢܲܥܪܝܼܢ. [54]The sons of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half the Manahethites and the Zorites.
55[No verse] [55]And the families of the scribes dwelling at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
