[1]ολως ακουεται εν υμιν πορνεια και τοιαυτη πορνεια ητις ουδε εν τοις εθνεσιν ονομαζεται ωστε γυναικα τινα του πατρος εχειν [1]Fornication is commonly reported among you; and such fornication as is not heard among the Heathens, that the son should take the wife of his father.
[2]και υμεις πεφυσιωμενοι εστε και ουχι μαλλον επενθησατε ινα εξαρθη εκ μεσου υμων ο το εργον τουτο ποιησας [2]And you are inflated; but should you not rather sit in grief that he who hath wrought this work might be put away from you?
[3]εγω μεν γαρ ως απων τω σωματι παρων δε τω πνευματι ηδη κεκρικα ως παρων τον ουτως τουτο κατεργασαμενον [3]But I, while distant from you in body, am near you in spirit, and now judge, as if near you, him who hath done this;
[4]εν τω ονοματι του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου συναχθεντων υμων και του εμου πνευματος συν τη δυναμει του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου [4]That in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha all of you be assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
[5]παραδουναι τον τοιουτον τω σατανα εις ολεθρον της σαρκος ινα το πνευμα σωθη εν τη ημερα του κυριου ιησου [5]And you deliver this [man] to Satana for the destruction of his body, that in spirit he may be saved in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
[6]ου καλον το καυχημα υμων ουκ οιδατε οτι μικρα ζυμη ολον το φυραμα ζυμοι [6]MY brethren, your boasting is not seemly. Know you not that a little leaven the whole mass leaveneth?
[7]εκκαθαρατε ουν την παλαιαν ζυμην ινα ητε νεον φυραμα καθως εστε αζυμοι και γαρ το πασχα ημων υπερ ημων {VAR1: ετυθη } {VAR2: εθυθη } χριστος [7]Purge from you the old leaven, that you may be a new mass; so that you may be [as] unleavened bread. For our Pascha is the Meshiha, who hath been slain for us.
[8]ωστε εορταζωμεν μη εν ζυμη παλαια μηδε εν ζυμη κακιας και πονηριας αλλ εν αζυμοις ειλικρινειας και αληθειας [8]Therefore, let us perform the festival, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and animosity, but with the unleavened bread of purity and of holiness.
[9]εγραψα υμιν εν τη επιστολη μη συναναμιγνυσθαι πορνοις [9]I have written to you by epistle, not to be mixed with fornicators;
[10]και ου παντως τοις πορνοις του κοσμου τουτου η τοις πλεονεκταις η αρπαξιν η ειδωλολατραις επει οφειλετε αρα εκ του κοσμου εξελθειν [10]But I do not say with fornicators who are in this world, nor speak I concerning the covetous, or the rapacious, or the servers of idols; otherwise you would be obligated from the world also to go forth.
[11]νυνι δε εγραψα υμιν μη συναναμιγνυσθαι εαν τις αδελφος ονομαζομενος η πορνος η πλεονεκτης η ειδωλολατρης η λοιδορος η μεθυσος η αρπαξ τω τοιουτω μηδε συνεσθιειν [11]But this which I have written to you, Be not mixed, [is,] If any one who is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or a worshipper of idols, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or rapacious, with one who is such as he not to eat bread.
[12]τι γαρ μοι και τους εξω κρινειν ουχι τους εσω υμεις κρινετε [12]For what had I to judge those who are without? But you judge those who are within;
[13]τους δε εξω ο θεος κρινει και εξαρειτε τον πονηρον εξ υμων αυτων [13]But those who are without, Aloha judgeth: and put away the wicked one from among you.
