| [1]Beg I but of the elders who are among you I elder your fellow and witness of the sufferings of The Messiah and sharer of His glory which is going to be revealed |
[1]BUT I entreat of the presbyters who are among you, I, a presbyter, your companion, and a witness of the sufferings of the Meshiha, and a partaker of his glory that is to be revealed; |
| [2]Shepherd the flock of Alaha that follow you and take care spiritually not by compulsion but with pleasure not by profit defiled but from all your heart |
[2]Feed the flock of Aloha which is delivered to you, and take care [of it] spiritually,ⓘ not by constraint, but with the will; not for corrupt gain, but with all your heart; |
| [3]Not as lords of the flock but as that you would be to them examples excellent |
[3]Not as lords of the flock, but that you may be to them a goodly example; |
| [4]And when will be revealed The Chief Shepherd you shall receive from Him a crown of glory that not fades |
[4]That when the Chief of pastorsⓘ shall be revealed, you may receive from him a crown of glory which fadeth not. |
| [5]And you younger submit to your elders and be clothed closely humility of mind to each one because Alaha opposed is to those who are proud and to the humble He gives grace |
[5]And you younger, be subject to your presbyters, and be clothed carefullyⓘ with humility of mind towards one another; because Aloha is against those who exalt themselves, and to the humble he giveth grace. |
| [6]Be humbled therefore under the hand mighty of Alaha that it may exalt you in the time that is right |
[6]Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of Aloha, that he may exalt you at the right time. |
| [7]And your cares all cast on Alaha for He takes care of you |
[7]And all your anxiety cast upon Aloha, because he is careful over you. |
| [8]Be alert and be reflective because your enemy Satan as a lion roars and walks and seeks whom to devour |
[8]Watch, and be mindful, because your adversary Satana, as a lion, roareth and walketh and seeketh whom he may devour. |
| [9]Stand therefore against him while are firm you in the faith and know that also against your brethren in the world those these sufferings occur |
[9]Withstand him then, being confirmed in the faith; and know that upon your brethren also who are in the world, these same sufferings come. |
| [10]The Alaha but of grace He Who called us to His glory eternal by Ieshu The Messiah He Who gives us that while we shall endure these afflictions small to be empowered and confirmed and established in Him to eternity |
[10]But the God of grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Jeshu Meshiha, will give to us while we endure these few afflictions to be strengthened, and confirmed, and established in him for ever. |
| [11]For to Him the glory and the power and the honor to the eternity of eternities truly |
[11]To Him be glory and dominion and honour unto the age of ages. Amen. |
| [12]These few things as think I I have written to you by Sylvanus brother trustworthy and am convinced I and testify I that this is the grace true of Alaha this which stand you in it |
[12]These few, as I consider, I have written to you by the hands of Silvanos, a faithful brother; and I persuade and testify, that this is the true grace of Aloha, this wherein you stand. |
| [13]Invokes your welfare the church chosen which is in Babel and Marqus my son |
[13]The elect church which is in Babel, asketh for your peace, and Markos my son. |
| [14]Invoke the welfare one of another with a kiss holy peace with all of them those who in The Messiah are Amen |
[14]Salute one another with the holy kiss. Peace be with all of you who are in the Meshiha. Amen.
