And reignest not thou on all the kingdoms of the heathen? And in thine hand is power and might, and none is able to withstand thee.

[9]ἐάνC ἐπιἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP κακόςA1-NPN ῥομφαίαN1A-NSF κρίσιςN3I-NSF θάνατοςN2-NSM λιμόςN2-NSM ἵστημιVF-FMI1P ἐναντίονPRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSM οὗτοςRD-GSM καίC ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS ὅτιCRA-NSN ὄνομαN3M-NSN σύRP-GS ἐπίPRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM οὗτοςRD-DSM καίC βοάωVF-FMI1P πρόςP σύRP-AS ἀπόPRA-GSF θλῖψιςN3I-GSF καίC ἀκούωVF-FAI2S καίC σώζωVF-FAI2S [9]If evil come upon us, as the sword of judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and in thy presence (for thy name is in this house) and will cry unto thee in our tribulation, and thou wilt hear and help.

[11]καίC νῦνD ἰδούI αὐτόςRD-NPM ἐπιχειρέωV2-PAI3P ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAN ἐκβάλλωVF2-FAN ἐγώRP-AP ἀπόPRA-GSF κληρονομίαN1A-GSF ἐγώRP-GP ὅςRR-GSF δίδωμιVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DP [11]Behold, I say, they reward us, in coming to cast us out of thine inheritance, which thou hast caused us to inherit.

For there is no strength in us to stand before this great multitude that cometh against us, neither do we know what to do: but our eyes are toward thee.

[14]καίCRA-DSM *οζιηλN--DSMRA-DSMRA-GSM *ζαχαριαςN1T-GSMRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *βαναιαςN1T-GSMRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ελεηλN--GSMRA-GSM *μανθανιαςN1T-GSMRA-GSM *λευείτηςN1M-GSM ἀπόPRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ασαφN--GSM γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASM πνεῦμαN3M-NSN κύριοςN2-GSM ἐνPRA-DSF ἐκκλησίαN1A-DSF [14]And Jahaziel the son of Zechariah the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph was there, upon whom came the Spirit of the Lord, in the midst of the congregation.
[15]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἀκούωVA-AAD2P πᾶςA3-NSM *ἰουδάN--NSM καίCRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF καίCRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *ιωσαφατN--NSM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM σύRP-DP αὐτόςRD-DPM μήD φοβέωV2-PMI2P μηδέC πτοέωVC-APS2P ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSNRA-GSM ὄχλοςN2-GSMRA-GSM πολύςA1-GSM οὗτοςRD-GSM ὅτιC οὐD σύRP-DP εἰμίV9-PAI3SRA-NSF παράταξιςN3I-NSF ἀλλάCCRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM [15]And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou, king Jehoshaphat: thus saith the Lord unto you, Fear you not, neither be afraid for this great multitude: for the battle is not yours, but God's.
[16]αὔριονD καταβαίνωVD-APD2P ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM ἰδούI ἀναβαίνωV1-PAI3P κατάPRA-ASF ἀνάβασιςN3I-ASF *ασαςN--ASF καίC εὑρίσκωVF-FAI2P αὐτόςRD-APM ἐπίP ἄκροςA1A-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSMRA-GSF ἐρῆμοςN2-GSF *ιεριηλN--GSF [16]Tomorrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cleft of Ziz, and ye shall find them at the end of the brook before the wilderness of Jeruel.
[17]οὐD σύRP-DP εἰμίV9-PAI3S πολεμέωVA-AAN οὗτοςRD-APN συνἵημιVH-AAD2P καίC ὁράωVB-AAD2PRA-ASF σωτηρίαN1A-ASF κύριοςN2-GSM μετάP σύRP-GP *ἰουδάN--VSM καίC *ἰερουσαλήμN--VSF μήD φοβέωV2-PMI2P μηδέC πτοέωVC-APS2P αὔριονD ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAN εἰςP ἀπάντησιςN3I-ASF αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC κύριοςN2-NSM μετάP σύRP-GP [17]Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: stand still, move not, and behold the salvation of the Lord towards you: O Judah, and Jerusalem, fear ye not, neither be afraid: tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.
[18]καίC κύπτωVA-AAPNSM *ιωσαφατN--NSM ἐπίP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC πᾶςA3-NSM *ἰουδάN--NSM καίCRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF πίπτωVAI-AAI3P ἔναντιP κύριοςN2-GSM προςκυνέωVA-AAN κύριοςN2-DSM [18]Then Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the earth, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.
[19]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3PRA-NPM *λευείτηςN1M-NPM ἀπόPRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *κααθN--GSM καίC ἀπόPRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *κορεN--GSM αἰνέωV2-PAN κύριοςN2-DSM θεόςN2-DSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐνP φωνήN1-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF εἰςP ὕψοςN3E-ASN [19]And the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
[20]καίC ὀρθρίζωVAI-AAI3P πρωίD καίC ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P εἰςPRA-ASF ἐρῆμοςN2-ASF *θεκωεN--GS καίC ἐνPRA-DSN ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAN ἵστημιVHI-AAI3S *ιωσαφατN--NSM καίC βοάωVAI-AAI3S καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἀκούωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-GS *ἰουδάN--NSM καίCRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM ἐνP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF ἐνπιστεύωVA-AAD2P ἐνP κύριοςN2-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GP καίC ἐνπιστεύωVC-FPI2P ἐνπιστεύωVA-AAD2P ἐνP προφήτηςN1M-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC εὐοδόωVC-FPI2P [20]And when they arose early in the morning, they went forth to the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they departed, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear ye me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem: put your trust in the Lord your God, and ye shall be assured: believe his prophets, and ye shall prosper.
[21]καίC βουλεύωVAI-AMI3S μετάPRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM καίC ἵστημιVAI-AAI3S ψαλτῳδόςA1B-APM καίC αἰνέωV2-PAPAPM ἐκὁμολογέωV2-PMN καίC αἰνέωV2-PANRA-APN ἅγιοςA1A-APN ἐνPRA-DSN ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAN ἔμπροσθενPRA-GSF δύναμιςN3I-GSF καίC λέγωV1I-IAI3P ἐκὁμολογέωV2-PMI2PRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM ὅτιC εἰςPRA-ASM αἰώνN3W-ASMRA-NSN ἔλεοςN3E-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSM [21]And when he had consulted with the people, and appointed singers unto the Lord, and them that should praise him that is in the beautiful sanctuary, in going forth before the men of arms, and saying, Praise ye the Lord, for his mercy lasteth forever,
[22]καίC ἐνPRA-DSN ἄρχωVA-AMNRA-GSF αἴνεσιςN3I-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-GSF ἐξομολόγησιςN3I-GSF δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πολεμέωV2-PANRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *αμμωνN--GSM ἐπίP *μωαβN--ASM καίC ὄροςN3E-ASN *σηιρN--ASNRA-APM ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAPAPM ἐπίP *ἰούδαςN1T-ASM καίC τροπόωVCI-API3P [22]And when they began to shout, and to praise, the Lord laid ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah, and they slew one another.
[23]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3PRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *αμμωνN--GSM καίC *μωαβN--GSM ἐπίPRA-APM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPAPM ὄροςN3E-ASN *σηιρN--ASN ἐκὀλεθρεύωVA-AAN καίC ἐκτρίβωVA-AAN καίC ὡςC συντελέωVAI-AAI3PRA-APM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPAPM *σηιρN--GSN ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3P εἰςP ἀλλήλωRD-APMRA-GSN ἐκὀλεθρεύωVC-APN [23]For the children of Ammon and Moab rose against the inhabitants of mount Seir, to slay and to destroy them and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
[24]καίC *ἰούδαςN1T-NSM ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐπίPRA-ASF σκοπιάN1A-ASFRA-GSF ἐρῆμοςN2-GSF καίC ἐπιβλέπωVAI-AAI3S καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3SRA-ASN πλῆθοςN3E-ASN καίC ἰδούI πᾶςA3-NPM νεκρόςN2-NPM πίπτωVX-XAPNPM ἐπίPRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF οὐD εἰμίV9-IAI3S σώζωV1-PMPNSM [24]And when Judah came toward Mizpah in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude: and behold, the carcasses were fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
[25]καίC ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S *ιωσαφατN--NSM καίCRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSM σκυλεύωVA-AANRA-APN σκῦλονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC εὑρίσκωVB-AAI3P κτῆνοςN3E-APN πολύςA1-APN καίC ἀποσκευήN1-ASF καίC σκῦλονN2N-APN καίC σκεῦοςN3E-APN ἐπιθυμητόςA1-APN καίC σκυλεύωVAI-AAI3P ἑαυτοῦRD-DPM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3P ἡμέραN1A-NPF τρεῖςN3-NPF σκυλεύωV1-PAPGPM αὐτόςRD-GPMRA-APN σκῦλονN2N-APN ὅτιC πολύςA1-APN εἰμίV9-IAI3S [25]And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both of substance and also of bodies laden with precious jewels, which they took for themselves, till they could carry no more: they were three days in gathering of the spoil: for it was much.
[26]καίCRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSFRA-DSF τέταρτοςA1-DSF ἐπι συνἄγωVQI-API3P εἰςPRA-ASM αὐλώνN3-ASMRA-GSF εὐλογίαN1A-GSF ἐκεῖD γάρX εὐλογέωVAI-AAI3PRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN καλέωVAI-AAI3PRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASNRA-GSM τόποςN2-GSM ἐκεῖνοςRD-GSM *κοιλάςN--NS εὐλογίαN1A-GSF ἕωςPRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF [26]And in the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah: for there they blessed the Lord: therefore they called the name of that place, The valley of Berachah unto this day.
[27]καίC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-NSM ἀνήρN3-NSM *ἰουδάN--GSM εἰςP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF καίC *ιωσαφατN--NSM ἡγέομαιV2-PMPNSM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐνP εὐφροσύνηN1-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF ὅτιC εὐφραίνωVA-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM κύριοςN2-NSM ἀπόPRA-GPM ἐχθρόςA1A-GPM αὐτόςRD-GPM [27]Then every man of Judah and Jerusalem returned with Jehoshaphat their head, to go again to Jerusalem with joy: for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
[28]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P εἰςP *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF ἐνP νάβλαN1A-DPF καίC ἐνP κινύραN1A-DPF καίC ἐνP σάλπιγξN3G-DPF εἰςP οἶκοςN2-ASM κύριοςN2-GSM [28]And they came to Jerusalem with viols and with harps, and with trumpets, even unto the house of the Lord.
[29]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἔκστασιςN3I-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-APFRA-APF βασιλείαN1A-APFRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ἐνPRA-DSN ἀκούωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM ὅτιC πολεμέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςPRA-APM ὑπεναντίοςA1A-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM [29]And the fear of God was upon all the kingdoms of the earth, when they had heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.
[30]καίC εἰρηνεύωVA-AAI3SRA-NSF βασιλείαN1A-NSF *ιωσαφατN--NSM καίC καταπαύωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSMRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSM κυκλόθενP [30]So the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was quiet, and his God gave him rest on every side.
[31]καίC βασιλεύωVAI-AAI3S *ιωσαφατN--NSM ἐπίPRA-ASM *ἰούδαςN1T-ASM ἔτοςN3E-GPN τριάκονταM πέντεM ἐνPRA-DSN βασιλεύωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC εἴκοσιM πέντεM ἔτοςN3E-APN βασιλεύωVAI-AAI3S ἐνP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF καίC ὄνομαN3M-NSNRA-DSF μήτηρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM *αζουβαN--NSF θυγάτηρN3-NSF *σαλιN--GSM [31]And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah, and was five and thirty year old, when he began to reign: and reigned five and twenty year in Jerusalem, and his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
