[1]In the twelfth year, in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |
| [2]υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM στηρίζωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN σύRP-GS ἐπίP *φαραώN--ASM βασιλεύςN3V-ASM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC προφητεύωVA-AAD2S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC ἐπίP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF ὅλοςA1-ASF |
[2]Son of man, set thy face against Pharao king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against the whole of Egypt: |
| [3]καίC εἶπονVB-AAD2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐπίP *φαραώN--ASM ὁRA-ASM δράκωνN3-ASM ὁRA-ASM μέγαςA1P-ASM ὁRA-ASM ἐν καταἧμαιV5-PMPASM ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM ποταμόςN2-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-ASM λέγωV1-PAPASM ἐγώRP-DS εἰμίV9-PAI3P ὁRA-NPM ποταμόςN2-NPM καίC ἐγώRP-NS ποιέωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM |
[3]and say, |
| [4]καίC ἐγώRP-NS δίδωμιVF-FAI1S παγίςN3D-APF εἰςP ὁRA-APF σιαγώνN3N-APF σύRP-GS καίC προςκολλάωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-APM ἰχθύςN3U-APM ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS πρόςP ὁRA-APF πτέρυξN3G-APF σύRP-GS καίC ἀναἄγωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AS ἐκP μέσοςA1-GSM ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS καίC πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM ἰχθύςN3U-APM ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS |
[4]And I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy river to stick to thy sides, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy river: |
| [5]καίC καταβάλλωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-AS ἐνP ταχύςA3U-DSM καίC πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM ἰχθύςN3U-APM ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ἐπίP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ὁRA-GSN πεδίονN2N-GSN πίπτωVF-FMI2S καίC οὐD μήD συνἄγωVQ-APS2S καίC οὐD μήD περιστέλλωVD-APS2S ὁRA-DPN θηρίονN2N-DPN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC ὁRA-DPN πετεινόνN2N-DPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM δίδωμιVX-XAI1S σύRP-AS εἰςP κατάβρωμαN3M-ASN |
[5]and I will quickly cast down thee and all the fish of thy river: thou shalt fall on the face of the plain, and shalt by no means be gathered, and shalt not be brought together: I have given thee for food to the wild beasts of the earth and to the fowls of the sky. |
| [6]καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ἀντίP ὅςRR-GPM γίγνομαιVCI-API2S ῥάβδοςN2-NSF καλάμινοςA1-NSF ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[6]And all the dwellers in Egypt shall know that I am the Lord, because thou hast been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. |
| [7]ὅτεD ἐπιλαμβάνωVBI-AMI3P σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GPM θλάωVCI-API2S καίC ὅτεD ἐπικρατέωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM πᾶςA1S-NSF χείρN3-NSF καίC ὅτεD ἐπι ἀναπαύωVAI-AMI3P ἐπίP σύRP-AS συντρίβωVDI-API2S καίC συνκλάζωVAI-AAI2S αὐτόςRD-GPM πᾶςA1S-ASF ὀσφύςN3U-ASF |
[7]When they took hold of thee with their hand, thou didst break: and when every hand was clapped against them, and when they leaned on thee, thou wast utterly broken, and didst crush the loins of them all. |
| [8]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐπιἄγωV1-PAI1S ἐπίP σύRP-AS ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF καίC ἀποὀλλύωVF2-FAI1S ἄνθρωποςN2-APM ἀπόP σύRP-GS καίC κτῆνοςN3E-APN |
[8]Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and will cut off from thee man and beast; |
| [9]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἀπώλειαN1A-NSF καίC ἔρημοςA1B-NSF καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ἀντίP ὁRA-GSN λέγωV1-PAN σύRP-AS ὁRA-NPM ποταμόςN2-NPM ἐγώRP-DS εἰμίV9-PAI3P καίC ἐγώRP-NS ποιέωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM |
[9]and the land of Egypt shall be ruined and desert; and they shall know that I am the Lord; because thou sayest, The rivers are mine, and I made them. |
| [10]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐπίP σύRP-AS καίC ἐπίP πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM ποταμόςN2-APM σύRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF εἰςP ἔρημοςN2-ASF καίC ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF καίC ἀπώλειαN1A-ASF ἀπόP *μάγδωλοςN2-GS καίC *συήνηN1-GSF καίC ἕωςP ὅριονN2N-GPN *αἰθίοψN3P-GPM |
[10]Therefore, behold, I am against thee, and against all thy rivers, and I will give up the land of Egypt to desolation, and the sword, and destruction, from Magdol and Syene even to the borders of the Ethiopians. |
| [11]οὐD μήD διαἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSF πούςN3D-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM καίC πούςN3D-NSM κτῆνοςN3E-GSN οὐD μήD διαἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC οὐD καταοἰκέωVC-FPI3S τεσσαράκονταM ἔτοςN3E-APN |
[11]No foot of man shall pass through it, and no foot of beast shall pass through it, and it shall not be inhabited for forty years. |
| [12]καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSF ἀπώλειαN1A-ASF ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM γῆN1-GSF ἐρημόωVM-XPPGSF καίC ὁRA-NPF πόλιςN3I-NPF αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM πόλιςN3I-GPF ἐρημόωVM-XPPGPF εἰμίVF-FMI3P τεσσαράκονταM ἔτοςN3E-APN καίC διασπείρωVF2-FAI1S *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ἔθνοςN3E-DPN καίC λικμάωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP ὁRA-APF χώραN1A-APF |
[12]And I will cause her land to be utterly destroyed in the midst of a land that is desolate, and her cities shall be desolate forty years in the midst of cities that are desolate: and I will disperse Egypt among the nations, and will utterly scatter them into the countries. |
| [13]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM μετάP τεσσαράκονταM ἔτοςN3E-APN συνἄγωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ὅςRR-GSM διασκορπίζωVCI-API3P ἐκεῖD |
[13]Thus saith the Lord; After forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations among whom they have been scattered; |
| [14]καίC ἀποστρέφωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM καίC καταοἰκίζωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *παθουρηςN--GSF ἐνP ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF ὅθενD λαμβάνωVVI-API3P καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἀρχήN1-NSF ταπεινόςA1-NSF |
[14]and I will turn the captivity of the Egyptians, and will cause them to dwell in the land of Phathore, in the land whence they were taken; |
| [15]παράP πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἀρχήN1-APF οὐD μήD ὑψόωVC-APS3S ἔτιD ἐπίP ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN καίC ὀλιγοστόςA1-APM αὐτόςRD-APM ποιέωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-GSN μήD εἰμίV9-PAN αὐτόςRD-APM πολύςA3C-APM ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ἔθνοςN3E-DPN |
[15]and it shall be a base kingdom beyond all other kingdoms; it shall not any more be exalted over the nations; and I will make them few in number, that they may not be great among the nations. |
| [16]καίC οὐκέτιD εἰμίVF-FMI3P ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM εἰςP ἐλπίςN3D-ASF ἀναμιμνήσκωV1-PAPASF ἀνομίαN1A-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DSM αὐτόςRD-APM ἀκολουθέωVA-AAN ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[16]And they shall no more be to the house of Israel a confidence bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they follow after them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| [17]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSN ἕβδομοςA1-DSN καίC εἰκοστόςA1-DSN ἔτοςN3E-DSN εἷςA1A-DSF ὁRA-GSM μήνN3-GSM ὁRA-GSM πρῶτοςA1-GSMS γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S λόγοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[17]And it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |
| [18]υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM *ναβουχοδονοσορN--NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *βαβυλώνN3W-GSF καταδουλόωVAI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-ASF δύναμιςN3I-ASF δουλείαN1A-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF ἐπίP *τύροςN2-GSF πᾶςA1S-NSF κεφαλήN1-NSF φαλακρόςA1A-NSF καίC πᾶςA3-NSM ὦμοςN2-NSM μαδάωV3-PAPNSM καίC μισθόςN2-NSM οὐD γίγνομαιVCI-API3S αὐτόςRD-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSF δύναμιςN3I-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP *τύροςN2-GSF καίC ὁRA-GSF δουλείαN1A-GSF ὅςRR-GSF δουλεύωVAI-AAI3P ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASF |
[18]Son of man, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre; every head was bald, and every shoulder peeled; yet there was no reward to him or to his army serving against Tyre, nor for the service wherewith they served against it. |
| [19]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM ἰδούI δίδωμιV8-PAI1S ὁRA-DSM *ναβουχοδονοσορN--DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *βαβυλώνN3W-GSF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC προνομεύωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF προνομήN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC σκυλεύωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APN σκῦλονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S μισθόςN2-NSM ὁRA-DSF δύναμιςN3I-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[19]Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will give to Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon the land of Egypt, and he shall take the plunder thereof, and seize the spoils thereof; and it shall be a reward for his army. |
| [20]ἀντίP ὁRA-GSF λειτουργίαN1A-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὅςRR-GSF δουλεύωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP *τύροςN2-ASF δίδωμιVX-XAI1S αὐτόςRD-DSM γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM |
[20]In return for his service wherewith he served against Tyre, I have given him the land of Egypt; thus saith the Lord God: |
| [21]ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ἀνατέλλωVF2-FAI3S κέραςN3T-NSN πᾶςA3-DSM ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC σύRP-DS δίδωμιVF-FAI1S στόμαN3M-ASN ἀναοἴγωVK-XMPASM ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[21]In that day shall a horn spring forth for all the house of Israel, and I will give thee an open mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
