[4]And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard unto Jahaz: therefore the warriors of Moab shall shout: the soul of every one shall lament in himself. |
[5]Myn herte schal crie to Moab, the barris therof `til to Segor, a cow calf of thre yeer. For whi a wepere schal stie bi the stiyng of Luith, and in the weie of Oronaym thei schulen reise cry of sorewe. |
[5]Mine heart shall cry for Moab: his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three year old: for they shall go up with weeping by the mounting up of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. |
[6]For whi the watris of Nemrym schulen be forsakun; for the eerbe dried up, buriownyng failide, al grenenesse perischide. |

[8]For the cry went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof unto Beer Elim, |
[9]For the watris of Dibon ben fillid with blood; for Y schal sette encreessyngis on Dibon, to tho men of Moab that fledden fro the lioun, and to the relifs of the lond. |
[9]Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, even lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land. |
