[9]𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts hath devised it, to pollute the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth. |

[10]Overflow thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish! there is no girdle any more. |

[12]And He said: 'Thou shalt no more rejoice.' O thou oppressed virgin daughter of Zidon, arise, pass over to Kittim; even there shalt thou have no rest. |

[13]Behold, the land of the Chaldeans—this is the people that was not, when Asshur founded it for shipmen—they set up their towers, they overthrew the palaces thereof; it is made a ruin. |

[15]And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king; after the end of seventy years it shall fare with Tyre as in the song of the harlot: |

[16]Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot long forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered. |
| [17]And it shall come to pass after the endH7093 of seventyH7657 yearsH8141, that the LORDH3068 will visitH6485[H8799] TyreH6865, and she shall turnH7725[H8804] to her hireH868, and shall commit fornicationH2181[H8804] with all the kingdomsH4467 of the worldH776 upon the faceH6440 of the earthH127. |
[17]And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 will remember Tyre, and she shall return to her hire, and shall have commerce with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. |
| [18]And her merchandiseH5504 and her hireH868 shall be holinessH6944 to the LORDH3068: it shall not be treasuredH686[H8735] nor laid upH2630[H8735]; for her merchandiseH5504 shall be for them that dwellH3427[H8802] beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, to eatH398[H8800] sufficientlyH7654, and for durableH6266 clothingH4374. |
[18]And her gain and her hire shall be holiness to 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇; it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her gain shall be for them that dwell before 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, to eat their fill, and for stately clothing. |
