| [2]הִנֵּ֨ה חָזָ֤ק וְאַמִּץ֙ לַֽאדֹנָ֔י כְּזֶ֥רֶם בָּרָ֖ד שַׂ֣עַר קָ֑טֶב כְּ֠זֶרֶם מַ֣יִם כַּבִּירִ֥ים שֹׁטְפִ֛ים הִנִּ֥יחַ לָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיָֽד׃ |
[2]Behold, the LordH136 hath a mightyH2389 and strong oneH533, which as a tempestH2230 of hailH1259 and a destroyingH6986 stormH8178, as a floodH2230 of mightyH3524 watersH4325 overflowingH7857[H8802], shall cast downH3240[H8689] to the earthH776 with the handH3027. |

| [4]וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה צִיצַ֤ת נֹבֵל֙ צְבִ֣י תִפְאַרְתֹּ֔ו אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־רֹ֖אשׁ גֵּ֣יא שְׁמָנִ֑ים כְּבִכּוּרָהּ֙ בְּטֶ֣רֶם קַ֔יִץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִרְאֶ֤ה הָֽרֹאֶה֙ אֹותָ֔הּ בְּעֹודָ֥הּ בְּכַפֹּ֖ו יִבְלָעֶֽנָּה׃ |

| [5]בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאֹ֔ות לַעֲטֶ֣רֶת צְבִ֔י וְלִצְפִירַ֖ת תִּפְאָרָ֑ה לִשְׁאָ֖ר עַמֹּֽו׃ |
[5]In that dayH3117 shall the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 be for a crownH5850 of gloryH6643, and for a diademH6843 of beautyH8597, unto the residueH7605 of his peopleH5971, |
| [6]וּלְר֖וּחַ מִשְׁפָּ֑ט לַיֹּושֵׁב֙ עַל־הַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט וְלִ֨גְבוּרָ֔ה מְשִׁיבֵ֥י מִלְחָמָ֖ה שָֽׁעְרָה׃ |
[6]And for a spiritH7307 of judgmentH4941 to him that sittethH3427[H8802] in judgmentH4941, and for strengthH1369 to them that turnH7725[H8688] the battleH4421 to the gateH8179. |
| [7]וְגַם־אֵ֙לֶּה֙ בַּיַּ֣יִן שָׁג֔וּ וּבַשֵּׁכָ֖ר תָּע֑וּ כֹּהֵ֣ן וְנָבִיא֩ שָׁג֨וּ בַשֵּׁכָ֜ר נִבְלְע֣וּ מִן־הַיַּ֗יִן תָּעוּ֙ מִן־הַשֵּׁכָ֔ר שָׁגוּ֙ בָּֽרֹאֶ֔ה פָּק֖וּ פְּלִילִיָּֽה׃ |

| [8]כִּ֚י כָּל־שֻׁלְחָנֹ֔ות מָלְא֖וּ קִ֣יא צֹאָ֑ה בְּלִ֖י מָקֹֽום׃ |
[8]For all tablesH7979 are fullH4390[H8804] of vomitH6892 and filthinessH6675, so that there is no place cleanH4725. |
| [9]אֶת־מִי֙ יֹורֶ֣ה דֵעָ֔ה וְאֶת־מִ֖י יָבִ֣ין שְׁמוּעָ֑ה גְּמוּלֵי֙ מֵֽחָלָ֔ב עַתִּיקֵ֖י מִשָּׁדָֽיִם׃ |
[9]Whom shall he teachH3384[H8686] knowledgeH1844? and whom shall he make to understandH995[H8799] doctrineH8052? them that are weanedH1580[H8803] from the milkH2461, and drawnH6267 from the breastsH7699. |
| [10]כִּ֣י צַ֤ו לָצָו֙ צַ֣ו לָצָ֔ו קַ֥ו לָקָ֖ו קַ֣ו לָקָ֑ו זְעֵ֥יר שָׁ֖ם זְעֵ֥יר שָֽׁם׃ |

| [13]וְהָיָ֨ה לָהֶ֜ם דְּבַר־יְהוָ֗ה צַ֣ו לָצָ֞ו צַ֤ו לָצָו֙ קַ֤ו לָקָו֙ קַ֣ו לָקָ֔ו זְעֵ֥יר שָׁ֖ם זְעֵ֣יר שָׁ֑ם לְמַ֨עַן יֵלְכ֜וּ וְכָשְׁל֤וּ אָחֹור֙ וְנִשְׁבָּ֔רוּ וְנֹוקְשׁ֖וּ וְנִלְכָּֽדוּ׃ |

| [15]כִּ֣י אֲמַרְתֶּ֗ם כָּרַ֤תְנֽוּ בְרִית֙ אֶת־מָ֔וֶת וְעִם־שְׁאֹ֖ול עָשִׂ֣ינוּ חֹזֶ֑ה [שִׁיט כ] (שֹׁ֣וט ק) שֹׁוטֵ֤ף כִּֽי־ [עָבַר כ] (יַֽעֲבֹר֙ ק) לֹ֣א יְבֹואֵ֔נוּ כִּ֣י שַׂ֧מְנוּ כָזָ֛ב מַחְסֵ֖נוּ וּבַשֶּׁ֥קֶר נִסְתָּֽרְנוּ׃ |

| [16]לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֛י יִסַּ֥ד בְּצִיֹּ֖ון אָ֑בֶן אֶ֣בֶן בֹּ֜חַן פִּנַּ֤ת יִקְרַת֙ מוּסָ֣ד מוּסָּ֔ד הַֽמַּאֲמִ֖ין לֹ֥א יָחִֽישׁ׃ |
[16]Therefore thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069, Behold, I layH3245[H8765] in ZionH6726 for a foundation a stoneH68, a triedH976 stoneH68, a preciousH3368 cornerH6438 stone, a sureH3245[H8716] foundationH4143: he that believethH539[H8688] shall not make hasteH2363.[H8686] |
| [17]וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י מִשְׁפָּט֙ לְקָ֔ו וּצְדָקָ֖ה לְמִשְׁקָ֑לֶת וְיָעָ֤ה בָרָד֙ מַחְסֵ֣ה כָזָ֔ב וְסֵ֥תֶר מַ֖יִם יִשְׁטֹֽפוּ׃ |
[17]JudgmentH4941 also will I layH7760[H8804] to the lineH6957, and righteousnessH6666 to the plummetH4949: and the hailH1259 shall sweep awayH3261[H8804] the refugeH4268 of liesH3577, and the watersH4325 shall overflowH7857[H8799] the hiding placeH5643. |
| [18]וְכֻפַּ֤ר בְּרִֽיתְכֶם֙ אֶת־מָ֔וֶת וְחָזוּתְכֶ֥ם אֶת־שְׁאֹ֖ול לֹ֣א תָק֑וּם שֹׁ֤וט שֹׁוטֵף֙ כִּ֣י יַֽעֲבֹ֔ר וִהְיִ֥יתֶם לֹ֖ו לְמִרְמָֽס׃ |
[18]And your covenantH1285 with deathH4194 shall be disannulledH3722[H8795], and your agreementH2380 with hellH7585 shall not standH6965[H8799]; when the overflowingH7857[H8802] scourgeH7752 shall pass throughH5674[H8799], then ye shall be trodden down by itH4823. |
| [19]מִדֵּ֤י עָבְרֹו֙ יִקַּ֣ח אֶתְכֶ֔ם כִּֽי־בַבֹּ֧קֶר בַּבֹּ֛קֶר יַעֲבֹ֖ר בַּיֹּ֣ום וּבַלָּ֑יְלָה וְהָיָ֥ה רַק־זְוָעָ֖ה הָבִ֥ין שְׁמוּעָֽה׃ |
[19]From the timeH1767 that it goeth forthH5674[H8800] it shall takeH3947[H8799] you: for morningH1242 by morningH1242 shall it pass overH5674[H8799], by dayH3117 and by nightH3915: and it shall be a vexationH2113 only to understandH995[H8687] the reportH8052. |
| [20]כִּֽי־קָצַ֥ר הַמַּצָּ֖ע מֵֽהִשְׂתָּרֵ֑עַ וְהַמַּסֵּכָ֥ה צָ֖רָה כְּהִתְכַּנֵּֽס׃ |
[20]For the bedH4702 is shorterH7114[H8804] than that a man can stretchH8311[H8692] himself on it: and the coveringH4541 narrowerH6887[H8804] than that he can wrapH3664 himself in itH8692. |
| [21]כִּ֤י כְהַר־פְּרָצִים֙ יָק֣וּם יְהוָ֔ה כְּעֵ֖מֶק בְּגִבְעֹ֣ון יִרְגָּ֑ז לַעֲשֹׂ֤ות מַעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙ זָ֣ר מַעֲשֵׂ֔הוּ וְלַֽעֲבֹד֙ עֲבֹ֣דָתֹ֔ו נָכְרִיָּ֖ה עֲבֹדָתֹֽו׃ |
[21]For the LORDH3068 shall rise upH6965[H8799] as in mountH2022 PerazimH6559, he shall be wrothH7264[H8799] as in the valleyH6010 of GibeonH1391, that he may doH6213[H8800] his workH4639, his strangeH2114[H8801] workH4639; and bring to passH5647[H8800] his actH5656, his strangeH5237 actH5656. |
| [22]וְעַתָּה֙ אַל־תִּתְלֹוצָ֔צוּ פֶּֽן־יֶחְזְק֖וּ מֹֽוסְרֵיכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־כָלָ֨ה וְנֶחֱרָצָ֜ה שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי מֵאֵ֨ת אֲדֹנָ֧י יְהוִ֛ה צְבָאֹ֖ות עַל־כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
[22]Now therefore be ye not mockersH3887[H8698], lest your bandsH4147 be made strongH2388[H8799]: for I have heardH8085[H8804] from the LordH136 GODH3069 of hostsH6635 a consumptionH3617, even determinedH2782[H8737] upon the whole earthH776. |
| [23]הַאֲזִ֥ינוּ וְשִׁמְע֖וּ קֹולִ֑י הַקְשִׁ֥יבוּ וְשִׁמְע֖וּ אִמְרָתִֽי׃ |
[23]Give ye earH238[H8685], and hearH8085[H8798] my voiceH6963; hearkenH7181[H8685], and hearH8085[H8798] my speechH565. |
| [24]הֲכֹ֣ל הַיֹּ֔ום יַחֲרֹ֥שׁ הַחֹרֵ֖שׁ לִזְרֹ֑עַ יְפַתַּ֥ח וִֽישַׂדֵּ֖ד אַדְמָתֹֽו׃ |
[24]Doth the plowmanH2790[H8802] plowH2790[H8799] all dayH3117 to sowH2232[H8800]? doth he openH6605[H8762] and break the clodsH7702[H8762] of his groundH127? |
| [25]הֲלֹוא֙ אִם־שִׁוָּ֣ה פָנֶ֔יהָ וְהֵפִ֥יץ קֶ֖צַח וְכַמֹּ֣ן יִזְרֹ֑ק וְשָׂ֨ם חִטָּ֤ה שֹׂורָה֙ וּשְׂעֹרָ֣ה נִסְמָ֔ן וְכֻסֶּ֖מֶת גְּבֻלָתֹֽו׃ |
[25]When he hath made plainH7737[H8765] the faceH6440 thereof, doth he not cast abroadH6327[H8689] the fitchesH7100, and scatterH2236[H8799] the cumminH3646, and castH7760[H8804] in the principalH7795 wheatH2406 and the appointedH5567[H8737] barleyH8184 and the rieH3698 in their placeH1367? |
| [26]וְיִסְּרֹ֥ו לַמִּשְׁפָּ֖ט אֱלֹהָ֥יו יֹורֶֽנּוּ׃ |
[26]For his GodH430 doth instructH3256[H8765] him to discretionH4941, and doth teachH3384 himH8686. |
| [27]כִּ֣י לֹ֤א בֶֽחָרוּץ֙ י֣וּדַשׁ קֶ֔צַח וְאֹופַ֣ן עֲגָלָ֔ה עַל־כַּמֹּ֖ן יוּסָּ֑ב כִּ֧י בַמַּטֶּ֛ה יֵחָ֥בֶט קֶ֖צַח וְכַמֹּ֥ן בַּשָּֽׁבֶט׃ |
[27]For the fitchesH7100 are not threshedH1758[H8714] with a threshing instrumentH2742, neither is a cartH5699 wheelH212 turned aboutH5437[H8714] upon the cumminH3646; but the fitchesH7100 are beaten outH2251[H8735] with a staffH4294, and the cumminH3646 with a rodH7626. |
| [28]לֶ֣חֶם יוּדָ֔ק כִּ֛י לֹ֥א לָנֶ֖צַח אָדֹ֣ושׁ יְדוּשֶׁ֑נּוּ וְ֠הָמַם גִּלְגַּ֧ל עֶגְלָתֹ֛ו וּפָרָשָׁ֖יו לֹֽא־יְדֻקֶּֽנּוּ׃ |
[28]BreadH3899 corn is bruisedH1854[H8714]; because he will not everH5331 be threshingH156[H8800][H1758][H8799] it, nor breakH2000[H8804] it with the wheelH1536 of his cartH5699, nor bruiseH1854[H8799] it with his horsemenH6571. |

[29]This also cometh forthH3318[H8804] from the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, which is wonderfulH6381[H8689] in counselH6098, and excellentH1431[H8689] in workingH8454. |
