| [1]וְעַתָּ֞ה כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ בֹּרַאֲךָ֣ יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אַל־תִּירָא֙ כִּ֣י גְאַלְתִּ֔יךָ קָרָ֥אתִי בְשִׁמְךָ֖ לִי־אָֽתָּה׃ |
[1]But now thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 that createdH1254[H8802] thee, O JacobH3290, and he that formedH3335[H8802] thee, O IsraelH3478, FearH3372[H8799] not: for I have redeemedH1350[H8804] thee, I have calledH7121[H8804] thee by thy name; thou art mineH8034. |
| [2]כִּֽי־תַעֲבֹ֤ר בַּמַּ֙יִם֙ אִתְּךָ־אָ֔נִי וּבַנְּהָרֹ֖ות לֹ֣א יִשְׁטְפ֑וּךָ כִּֽי־תֵלֵ֤ךְ בְּמֹו־אֵשׁ֙ לֹ֣א תִכָּוֶ֔ה וְלֶהָבָ֖ה לֹ֥א תִבְעַר־בָּֽךְ׃ |
[2]When thou passest throughH5674[H8799] the watersH4325, I will be with thee; and through the riversH5104, they shall not overflowH7857[H8799] thee: when thou walkestH3212[H8799] throughH1119 the fireH784, thou shalt not be burnedH3554[H8735]; neither shall the flameH3852 kindleH1197 upon theeH8799. |
| [3]כִּ֗י אֲנִי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ קְדֹ֥ושׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֹושִׁיעֶ֑ךָ נָתַ֤תִּי כָפְרְךָ֙ מִצְרַ֔יִם כּ֥וּשׁ וּסְבָ֖א תַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃ |
[3]For I am the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, the Holy OneH6918 of IsraelH3478, thy SaviourH3467[H8688]: I gaveH5414[H8804] EgyptH4714 for thy ransomH3724, EthiopiaH3568 and Seba for theeH5434. |
| [4]מֵאֲשֶׁ֨ר יָקַ֧רְתָּ בְעֵינַ֛י נִכְבַּ֖דְתָּ וַאֲנִ֣י אֲהַבְתִּ֑יךָ וְאֶתֵּ֤ן אָדָם֙ תַּחְתֶּ֔יךָ וּלְאֻמִּ֖ים תַּ֥חַת נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ |
[4]Since thou wast preciousH3365[H8804] in my sightH5869, thou hast been honourableH3513[H8738], and I have lovedH157[H8804] thee: therefore will I giveH5414[H8799] menH120 for thee, and peopleH3816 for thy lifeH5315. |
| [5]אַל־תִּירָ֖א כִּ֣י אִתְּךָ־אָ֑נִי מִמִּזְרָח֙ אָבִ֣יא זַרְעֶ֔ךָ וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֖ב אֲקַבְּצֶֽךָּ׃ |
[5]FearH3372[H8799] not: for I am with thee: I will bringH935[H8686] thy seedH2233 from the eastH4217, and gatherH6908[H8762] thee from the westH4628; |
| [6]אֹמַ֤ר לַצָּפֹון֙ תֵּ֔נִי וּלְתֵימָ֖ן אַל־תִּכְלָ֑אִי הָבִ֤יאִי בָנַי֙ מֵרָחֹ֔וק וּבְנֹותַ֖י מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
[6]I will sayH559[H8799] to the northH6828, Give upH5414[H8798]; and to the southH8486, Keep not backH3607[H8799]: bringH935[H8685] my sonsH1121 from farH7350, and my daughtersH1323 from the endsH7097 of the earthH776; |
| [7]כֹּ֚ל הַנִּקְרָ֣א בִשְׁמִ֔י וְלִכְבֹודִ֖י בְּרָאתִ֑יו יְצַרְתִּ֖יו אַף־עֲשִׂיתִֽיו׃ |
[7]Even every oneH3605 that is calledH7121[H8737] by my nameH8034: for I have createdH1254[H8804] him for my gloryH3519, I have formedH3335[H8804] him; yea, I have madeH6213 himH8804. |
| [8]הֹוצִ֥יא עַם־עִוֵּ֖ר וְעֵינַ֣יִם יֵ֑שׁ וְחֵרְשִׁ֖ים וְאָזְנַ֥יִם לָֽמֹו׃ |
[8]Bring forthH3318[H8685] the blindH5787 peopleH5971 that haveH3426 eyesH5869, and the deafH2795 that have earsH241. |
| [9]כָּֽל־הַגֹּויִ֞ם נִקְבְּצ֣וּ יַחְדָּ֗ו וְיֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ לְאֻמִּ֔ים מִ֤י בָהֶם֙ יַגִּ֣יד זֹ֔את וְרִֽאשֹׁנֹ֖ות יַשְׁמִיעֻ֑נוּ יִתְּנ֤וּ עֵֽדֵיהֶם֙ וְיִצְדָּ֔קוּ וְיִשְׁמְע֖וּ וְיֹאמְר֥וּ אֱמֶֽת׃ |
[9]Let all the nationsH1471 be gatheredH6908[H8738] togetherH3162, and let the peopleH3816 be assembledH622[H8735]: who among them can declareH5046[H8686] this, and shewH8085[H8686] us former thingsH7223? let them bring forthH5414[H8799] their witnessesH5707, that they may be justifiedH6663[H8799]: or let them hearH8085[H8799], and sayH559[H8799], It is truthH571. |
| [10]אַתֶּ֤ם עֵדַי֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְעַבְדִּ֖י אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחָ֑רְתִּי לְמַ֣עַן תֵּ֠דְעוּ וְתַאֲמִ֨ינוּ לִ֤י וְתָבִ֙ינוּ֙ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י ה֔וּא לְפָנַי֙ לֹא־נֹ֣וצַר אֵ֔ל וְאַחֲרַ֖י לֹ֥א יִהְיֶֽה׃ |
[10]Ye are my witnessesH5707, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068, and my servantH5650 whom I have chosenH977[H8804]: that ye may knowH3045[H8799] and believeH539[H8686] me, and understandH995[H8799] that I am he: beforeH6440 me there was no GodH410 formedH3335[H8738], neither shall there be after meH310. |
| [11]אָנֹכִ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין מִבַּלְעָדַ֖י מֹושִֽׁיעַ׃ |
[11]I, even I, am the LORDH3068; and besideH1107 me there is no saviourH3467.[H8688] |
| [12]אָנֹכִ֞י הִגַּ֤דְתִּי וְהֹושַׁ֙עְתִּי֙ וְהִשְׁמַ֔עְתִּי וְאֵ֥ין בָּכֶ֖ם זָ֑ר וְאַתֶּ֥ם עֵדַ֛י נְאֻם־יְהוָ֖ה וַֽאֲנִי־אֵֽל׃ |
[12]I have declaredH5046[H8689], and have savedH3467[H8689], and I have shewedH8085[H8689], when there was no strangeH2114[H8801] god among you: therefore ye are my witnessesH5707, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068, that I am GodH410. |
| [13]גַּם־מִיֹּום֙ אֲנִ֣י ה֔וּא וְאֵ֥ין מִיָּדִ֖י מַצִּ֑יל אֶפְעַ֖ל וּמִ֥י יְשִׁיבֶֽנָּה׃ |
[13]Yea, before the dayH3117 was I am he; and there is none that can deliverH5337[H8688] out of my handH3027: I will workH6466[H8799], and who shall letH7725 itH8686? |
| [14]כֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה גֹּאַלְכֶ֖ם קְדֹ֣ושׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְמַעַנְכֶ֞ם שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי בָבֶ֗לָה וְהֹורַדְתִּ֤י בָֽרִיחִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם וְכַשְׂדִּ֖ים בָּאֳנִיֹּ֥ות רִנָּתָֽם׃ |
[14]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068, your redeemerH1350[H8802], the Holy OneH6918 of IsraelH3478; For your sake I have sentH7971[H8765] to BabylonH894, and have brought downH3381[H8689] all their noblesH1281, and the ChaldeansH3778, whose cryH7440 is in the shipsH591. |
| [15]אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה קְדֹֽושְׁכֶ֑ם בֹּורֵ֥א יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מַלְכְּכֶֽם׃ |
[15]I am the LORDH3068, your Holy OneH6918, the creatorH1254[H8802] of IsraelH3478, your KingH4428. |
| [16]כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה הַנֹּותֵ֥ן בַּיָּ֖ם דָּ֑רֶךְ וּבְמַ֥יִם עַזִּ֖ים נְתִיבָֽה׃ |
[16]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068, which makethH5414[H8802] a wayH1870 in the seaH3220, and a pathH5410 in the mightyH5794 watersH4325; |
| [17]הַמֹּוצִ֥יא רֶֽכֶב־וָס֖וּס חַ֣יִל וְעִזּ֑וּז יַחְדָּ֤ו יִשְׁכְּבוּ֙ בַּל־יָק֔וּמוּ דָּעֲכ֖וּ כַּפִּשְׁתָּ֥ה כָבֽוּ׃ |
[17]Which bringeth forthH3318[H8688] the chariotH7393 and horseH5483, the armyH2428 and the powerH5808; they shall lie downH7901[H8799] togetherH3162, they shall not riseH6965[H8799]: they are extinctH1846[H8804], they are quenchedH3518[H8804] as towH6594. |
| [18]אַֽל־תִּזְכְּר֖וּ רִֽאשֹׁנֹ֑ות וְקַדְמֹנִיֹּ֖ות אַל־תִּתְבֹּנָֽנוּ׃ |
[18]RememberH2142[H8799] ye not the former thingsH7223, neither considerH995[H8709] the things of oldH6931. |
| [19]הִנְנִ֨י עֹשֶׂ֤ה חֲדָשָׁה֙ עַתָּ֣ה תִצְמָ֔ח הֲלֹ֖וא תֵֽדָע֑וּהָ אַ֣ף אָשִׂ֤ים בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ דֶּ֔רֶךְ בִּֽישִׁמֹ֖ון נְהָרֹֽות׃ |
[19]Behold, I will doH6213[H8802] a new thingH2319; now it shall spring forthH6779[H8799]; shall ye not knowH3045[H8799] it? I will even makeH7760[H8799] a wayH1870 in the wildernessH4057, and riversH5104 in the desertH3452. |
| [20]תְּכַבְּדֵ֙נִי֙ חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה תַּנִּ֖ים וּבְנֹ֣ות יַֽעֲנָ֑ה כִּֽי־נָתַ֨תִּי בַמִּדְבָּ֜ר מַ֗יִם נְהָרֹות֙ בִּֽישִׁימֹ֔ן לְהַשְׁקֹ֖ות עַמִּ֥י בְחִירִֽי׃ |
[20]The beastH2416 of the fieldH7704 shall honourH3513[H8762] me, the dragonsH8577 and the owlsH1323[H3284]: because I giveH5414[H8804] watersH4325 in the wildernessH4057, and riversH5104 in the desertH3452, to give drinkH8248[H8687] to my peopleH5971, my chosenH972. |
| [21]עַם־זוּ֙ יָצַ֣רְתִּי לִ֔י תְּהִלָּתִ֖י יְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃ |
[21]ThisH2098 peopleH5971 have I formedH3335[H8804] for myself; they shall shew forthH5608[H8762] my praiseH8416. |
| [22]וְלֹא־אֹתִ֥י קָרָ֖אתָ יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב כִּֽי־יָגַ֥עְתָּ בִּ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
[22]But thou hast not calledH7121[H8804] upon me, O JacobH3290; but thou hast been wearyH3021[H8804] of me, O IsraelH3478. |
| [23]לֹֽא־הֵבֵ֤יאתָ לִּי֙ שֵׂ֣ה עֹלֹתֶ֔יךָ וּזְבָחֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א כִבַּדְתָּ֑נִי לֹ֤א הֶעֱבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙ בְּמִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הֹוגַעְתִּ֖יךָ בִּלְבֹונָֽה׃ |
[23]Thou hast not broughtH935[H8689] me the small cattleH7716 of thy burnt offeringsH5930; neither hast thou honouredH3513[H8765] me with thy sacrificesH2077. I have not caused thee to serveH5647[H8689] with an offeringH4503, nor weariedH3021[H8689] thee with incenseH3828. |
| [24]לֹא־קָנִ֨יתָ לִּ֤י בַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ קָנֶ֔ה וְחֵ֥לֶב זְבָחֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א הִרְוִיתָ֑נִי אַ֗ךְ הֶעֱבַדְתַּ֙נִי֙ בְּחַטֹּאותֶ֔יךָ הֹוגַעְתַּ֖נִי בַּעֲוֹנֹתֶֽיךָ׃ |
[24]Thou hast boughtH7069[H8804] me no sweet caneH7070 with moneyH3701, neither hast thou filledH7301[H8689] me with the fatH2459 of thy sacrificesH2077: but thou hast made me to serveH5647[H8689] with thy sinsH2403, thou hast weariedH3021[H8689] me with thine iniquitiesH5771. |
| [25]אָנֹכִ֨י אָנֹכִ֥י ה֛וּא מֹחֶ֥ה פְשָׁעֶ֖יךָ לְמַעֲנִ֑י וְחַטֹּאתֶ֖יךָ לֹ֥א אֶזְכֹּֽר׃ |
[25]I, even I, am he that blotteth outH4229[H8802] thy transgressionsH6588 for mine own sake, and will not rememberH2142[H8799] thy sinsH2403. |
| [26]הַזְכִּירֵ֕נִי נִשָּׁפְטָ֖ה יָ֑חַד סַפֵּ֥ר אַתָּ֖ה לְמַ֥עַן תִּצְדָּֽק׃ |
[26]Put me in remembranceH2142[H8685]: let us pleadH8199[H8735] togetherH3162: declareH5608[H8761] thou, that thou mayest be justifiedH6663.[H8799] |
| [27]אָבִ֥יךָ הָרִאשֹׁ֖ון חָטָ֑א וּמְלִיצֶ֖יךָ פָּ֥שְׁעוּ בִֽי׃ |
[27]Thy firstH7223 fatherH1 hath sinnedH2398[H8804], and thy teachersH3887[H8688] have transgressedH6586 against meH8804. |
| [28]וַאֲחַלֵּ֖ל שָׂ֣רֵי קֹ֑דֶשׁ וְאֶתְּנָ֤ה לַחֵ֙רֶם֙ יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְגִדּוּפִֽים׃ |
[28]Therefore I have profanedH2490[H8762] the princesH8269 of the sanctuaryH6944, and have givenH5414[H8799] JacobH3290 to the curseH2764, and IsraelH3478 to reproachesH1421. |
