| [1]אחי לא במסב באפא תהוונ אחידינ להימנותא דתשׁבוחתה דמרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא |
[1]My brothers not with acceptance of faces be holding the faith of the glory of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
| [2]אנ גיר נעול לכנושׁתכונ אנשׁ דעזקתה דדהבא או דמאנוהי שׁפירא ונעול מסכנא במאנא צאא |
[2]If for will enter your assembly a man a ring of gold or his clothing is fine and will enter a poor man in clothing dirty |
| [3]ותחורונ בהו דלבישׁ מאנא שׁפירא ותאמרונ לה אנת הרכא תב שׁפיר ולמסכנא תאמרונ לה אנת קומ להל או תב לכ הרכא קדמ כובשׁא דרגלינ |
[3]And you have regard for him wearing clothing fine and you say to him you here sit well and to the poor you say to him you stand there or sit you here before the stool of our feet |
| [4]לא הא אתפלגתונ לכונ בנפשׁכונ והויתונ מפרשׁנא דמחשׁבתא בישׁתא |
[4]Not? behold are you divided to you in your souls and you have become expositors of reasonings wicked |
| [5]שׁמעו אחי חביבא לא הוא למסכנא דעלמא עתירא דינ בהימנותא גבא אלהא דנהוונ ירתא במלכותא הי דמלכ אלהא לאילינ דרחמינ לה |
[5]Hear my brothers beloved not? has it been the poor of the world rich however in faith has chosen Alaha that they will be the heirs in kingdom that which promised Alaha to those who love Him |
| [6]אנתונ דינ שׁטתוניהי למסכנא לא הא עתירא משׁתעלינ עליכונ והנונ נגדינ לכונ לבית דינא |
[6]You but you have despised the poor not? behold the rich have dominion over you and they drag you to the place of judgment |
| [7]לא הא הנונ מגדפינ על שׁמא טבא דאתקרי עליכונ |
[7]Not behold those slander against The Name Good which is called upon you |
| [8]ואנ נמוסא דאלהא בהדא משׁלמיתונ איכ דכתיב דתרחמ לקריבכ איכ נפשׁכ שׁפיר עבדינ אנתונ |
[8]And if The Written Law of Alaha in this you fulfill as it is written "you shall love your neighbor as yourself well are doing you |
| [9]אנ דינ באפא נסבינ אנתונ חטיתא עבדינ אנתונ ומתכונינ אנתונ מנ נמוסא איכ עברי על נמוסא |
[9]If but faces accept you sin are doing you and are reproved you from The Written Law as violators against The Written Law |
| [10]אינא גיר דכלה נמוסא נטר ובחדא שׁרע לכלה נמוסא אתחיב |
[10]Whoever for all The Written Law keeps and in one thing he slips by the entire Written Law he is condemned |
| [11]הו גיר דאמר דלא תגור הו אמר דלא תקטול אנ דינ לא גאר אנת אלא קטל אנת הוית לכ עבר על נמוסא |
[11]He for Who said "not you shall commit adultery He said "not you shall murder if but not are committing adultery you but have murdered you it is to you a violation against The Written Law |
| [12]הכנא הויתונ ממללינ והכנא הויתונ סערינ איכ אנשׁא דבנמוסא דחארותא עתידינ אנתונ למתדנו |
[12]So be you speaking and so be you acting as a person who by The Written Law of liberty are going you to be judged |
| [13]דינא גיר הוא דלא רחמא על הו דלא עבד רחמא משׁתעלינ אנתונ ברחמא על דינא |
[13]The judgment for is without mercy against him who not practices mercy have dominion you with mercy over judgment |
| [14]מנא הנינא אחי אנ אנשׁ אמר דאית לי הימנותא ועבדא לית לה דלמא משׁכחא הימנותה דתחיוהי |
[14]What? good is it my brothers if a man says there is to me faith and deeds there are not to him interrog. is able his faith to give him life |
| [15]ואנ אחא או חתא נהוונ ערטליינ וחסירינ סיברתא דיומא |
[15]And if a brother or a sister shall be naked and lacking food of the day |
| [16]ונאמר להונ אנשׁ מנכונ זלו בשׁלמא שׁחנו וסבעו ולא תתלונ להונ סניקותה דפגרא מנא הנינא |
[16]And will say to them any of you go in peace be warm be full and not you would give to them the necessities of the body what? good is it |
| [17]הכנא אפ הימנותא דלא עבדא מיתא הי בלחודיה |
[17]So also faith without works dead is by itself |
| [18]אמר גיר אנשׁ לכ אית לכ הימנותא ולי אית לי עבדא חוני הימנותכ דלא עבדא ואנא מחוא אנא לכ הימנותי מנ עבדי |
[18]Says for a man to you is to you faith and to me is to me works show me your faith without works and I showing am to you my faith from my deeds |
| [19]מהימנ אנת דחד הו אלהא שׁפיר עבד אנת אפ שׁאדא מהימנינ ורעלינ |
[19]Believe you that One is Alaha well do you also the demons are believing and trembling |
| [20]צבא אנת דינ דתדע או ברנשׁא חלשׁא דהימנותא דלא עבדא מיתא הי |
[20]Willing are you? but to know Oh man feeble that faith without works dead is |
| [21]אבונ אברהמ לא הוא מנ עבדא אזדדק דאסק לאיסחק ברה על מדבחא |
[21]Our Father Abraham not? was from works justified when brought up Isaaq his son upon the altar |
| [22]חזא אנת דהימנותה סיעת לעבדוהי ומנ עבדא הימנותה אתגמרת |
[22]See? you that his faith upheld his deeds and from deeds his faith was perfected |
| [23]ושׁלמ כתבא דאמר דהימנ אברהמ באלהא ואתחשׁבת לה לזדיקו ורחמא דאלהא אתקרי |
[23]And was fulfilled the scripture that said "believed Abraham in Alaha and it was accounted to him for righteousness and the friend of Alaha he was called |
| [24]חזא אנת דמנ עבדא מזדדק ברנשׁא ולא הוא מנ הימנותא בלחוד |
[24]See you that from works is justified a son of man and not it is from faith only |
| [25]הכנא אפ רחב זניתא לא הוא מנ עבדא אזדדקת דקבלת לגשׁושׁא ובאורחא אחרתא אפקת אנונ |
[25]In this way also Rahab the harlot not? was it from works she was made righteous when she received the scouts and by a way another she sent them |
| [26]איכנא דפגרא דלא רוחא מית הו הכנא אפ הימנותא דלא עבדא מיתא הי |
[26]Just as a body without the spirit dead is so also faith without works dead is |
