[1]ܥܲܠ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܡܘܼܢ. ܗܵܟܲܢܵܬ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܒܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ ܠܲܝܬ̇ ܠܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܐܵܘ ܝܵܪܘܿܬ̣ܵܐ ܠܲܝܬ̇ ܠܹܗ: ܡܸܛܠ ܡܵܢܵܐ ܝܑܼܪܸܬ̣ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܡ ܠܓ̣ܵܕ݂: ܘܥܲܡܹܗ ܒܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܹܗ ܝܼܬܸܒ̣. |
| [2]Therefore behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir to them that were his heirs, saith the LORD. |
[2]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܗܵܐ ܝܵܘ̈ܡܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܵܬܹ̇ܝܢ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܐܲܫܡܲܥ ܥܲܠ ܪܲܒܲܬ̣ ܕܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܲܩܪܵܒ̣ܵܐ: ܘܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܠܬܸܠܵܐ ܚܲܪܒܵܐ: ܘܟܲܦܪ̈ܘܿܢܹܝܗ̇ ܒܢܘܼܪܵܐ ܢܹܐܩܕ̇ܘܼܢ: ܘܢܹܐܪܲܬ̣ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܠܝܵܪ̈ܘܿܬ̣ܵܘܗܝ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [3]Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is laid waste: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together. |
[3]ܬܲܝܠܸܠ ܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ ܡܸܛܠ ܕܐܸܬ̇ܬܲܒ̣ܪܲܬ̤ ܥܵܝ: ܒܲܓܸ̇ܢܘ ܟܲܦܪ̈ܘܿܢܹܝܗ̇ ܕܪܲܒܲܬ̣: ܐܸܬ̣ܟܲܒ̣̄ܢܘ ܣܲܩܹ̈ܐ: ܐܲܪܩܸܕ݂ܘ ܘܐܸܬ̣ܟܲܬܫܘ ܒܲܚ̈ܕ݂ܵܕܹܐ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܡ ܢܹܐܙܲܠ ܒܲܫܒ̣ܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܟ݂ܘܼܡܪ̈ܵܘܗܝ ܘܪܵܘܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܢܵܘܗܝ ܐܲܟ݂ܚ̄ܕ݂ܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [4]Why gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come to me? |
[4]ܡܵܢܵܐ ܡܸܫܬܲܒ̇ܚܲܬ̇ܝ ܒܥܘܼܡܩܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܝ: ܘܲܬ̣ܟ݂ܝܼܠܲܬ̇ܝ ܥܲܠ ܐܵܘܠܘܿܢܲܝ̈ܟܝ ܒܲܪܬ̣ܵܐ ܚܲܒ̇ܝܼܒ̣ܬܵܐ: ܕܲܬ̣ܟ݂ܝܼܠܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܓܲܙܹܝ̈ܗ̇ ܘܐܵܡܪܵܐ ܡܲܢܘܼ ܢܹܐܬܹܐ ܥܠܲܝ. |
| [5]Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that are about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth. |
[5]ܗܵܐ ܡܲܝܬܹ̇ܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܥܠܲܝܟ̇ܝ ܕܸܚ̱ܠܬ̣ܵܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܚܕ݂ܵܪ̈ܲܝܟ̇ܝ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ ܘܐܹܒܲܕܲܪ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܓܒܲܪ ܠܓܲܒܹ̇ܗ: ܘܠܲܝܬ̇ ܕܲܡܟܲܢܸܫ ܠܲܡܒܲܕ̇ܪܹ̈ܐ. |
| [6]And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD. |
[6]ܘܒ̣ܵܬܲܪܟܸ̇ܢ ܐܲܗܦܸܟ݂ ܫܒ̣ܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ: ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [7]Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? hath counsel perished from the prudent? hath their wisdom vanished? |
[7]ܥܲܠ ܐܕܘܡ ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ: ܠܲܝܬ̇ ܬܘܼܒ̣ ܚܸܟ݂ܡ̱ܬ̣ܵܐ ܒܬܲܝܡܲܢ: ܐܸܒܲܕ݂ ܡܸܠܟܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܣܲܟ̇ܘܼܠܬ̣ܵܢܹ̈ܐ: ܐܸܫܬܲܩܠܲܬ̤ ܚܸܟ݂ܡܲܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [8]Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. |
[8]ܥܪܲܩ̣ܘ ܘܐܸܬ̣ܗ̱ܦܸܟ݂ܘ: ܘܥܲܡܸܩ̣ܘ ܠܡܸܬܲܒ̣ ܥܵܡܘܿܪܹ̈ܐ ܕܕ݂ܵܪܵܢ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܬ̣ܒ̣ܵܪܹܗ ܕܥܹܣܘܿ ܐܲܝܬ̇ܝܼܬ̣ ܥܠܵܘܗܝ: ܙܲܒ̣ܢܵܐ ܕܦܘܼܩܕܵܢܹܗ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [9]If grape-gatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. |
[9]ܐܸܢ ܩܵܛܘܿܦܹ̈ܐ ܐܸܬ̣ܵܘ ܥܠܲܝܟ: ܠܵܐ ܫܵܒ̣ܩܝܼܢ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܘ ܒܘܼܥܵܪܵܐ: ܘܐܸܢ ܓܲܢܵܒܹ̈ܐ: ܒܠܸܠܝܵܐ ܚܲܒܸ̇ܠܘ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܕܲܨܒ̣ܵܘ. |
| [10]But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is laid waste, and his brethren, and his neighbors, and he is not. |
[10]ܐܸܢܵܐ ܓܹܝܪ ܒܨܹܝܬ̣ ܠܥܹܣܘܿ: ܘܲܓ̣ܠܹܝܬ̣ ܡܣܲܬ̇ܪ̈ܵܬܹܗ: ܘܐܸܬ̇ܛܲܫܝܼ ܘܠܵܐ ܐܸܫܬ̇ܟܲܚ: ܘܐܸܬ̣ܒܲܕܲܪ ܙܲܪܥܹܗ: ܘܐܲܚܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܘܲܫܒ̣ܵܒ̣ܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܘܠܲܝܬ̇ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ. |
| [11]Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me. |
[11]ܫܒ̣ܘܿܩ ܝܲܬ̣ܡܲܝ̈ܟ ܐܸܢܵܐ ܐܲܚܹܐ: ܘܐܲܪ̈ܡܠܵܬ̣ܵܟ݂ ܥܠܲܝ ܢܸܬ̇ܬܲܟ݂̈ܠܵܢ. |
| [12]For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drank; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it. |
[12]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܗܵܐ ܕܠܵܐ ܙܵܕܹ̇ܩ ܗ̄ܘ̣ܵܐ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܠܡܸܫܬܵܐ ܟܵܣܵܐ ܐܸܫܬ̇ܝܼܘ: ܘܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ ܣܒܲܪܬ̇ ܕܬܸܙܟܸ̇ܐ ܠܵܐ ܬܸܙܟܸ̇ܐ: ܐܸܠܵܐ ܐܵܦ ܬܸܫܬܸ̇ܐ ܟܵܣܵܐ. |
| [13]For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all her cities shall be perpetual wastes. |
[13]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܒ̣ܝܼ ܝܼܡ̇ܝܼܬ̣ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܕܲܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ: ܘܲܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ: ܘܲܠܚܸܣܕܵܐ: ܘܲܠܠܵܘܛܬ̣ܵܐ: ܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܒܘܼܨܪ. ܘܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܗ̇ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܢܸܗܘ̈ܝܵܢ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ. |
| [14]I have heard a rumor from the LORD, and an embassador is sent to the heathen, saying, Assemble, and come against her, and rise up to the battle. |
[14]ܛܸܒܵܐ ܫܸܡ̇ܥܹܬ̣ ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܐܝܼܙܓܲܕܵܐ ܠܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܐܸܫܬ̇ܠܲܚ: ܩܘܼܡܘ ܢܸܣܲܩ ܥܠܹܝܗ̇ ܠܲܩܪܵܒ̣ܵܐ. |
| [15]For lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men. |
[15]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܗܵܐ ܙܥܘܿܪܵܐ ܝܲܗܒ̣ܬܵܟ݂ ܒܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ: ܘܫܝܼܛܵܐ ܒܹܝܬ̣ ܒܢܲܝ̈ܢܵܫܵܐ. |
| [16]Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thy heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the hight of the hill: though thou shouldst make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD. |
[16]ܥܵܘܼܠܵܟ݂ ܐܲܛܥ̱ܝܵܟ݂ ܘܫܘܼܒ̣ܗܵܪܹܗ ܕܠܸܒܵܟ݂: ܕܲܫܪܸܐ ܒܲܫܩܝܼܦܵܐ ܕܟܹܐܦܵܐ: ܘܐܲܚܝܼܕ݂ ܒܪܵܘܡܵܐ ܕܪܵܡܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܐܵܡܲܪ ܒܠܸܒܹ̇ܗ ܡܲܢܘܼ ܢܲܚܬܲܢܝ ܠܐܲܪܥܵܐ. ܐܸܢ ܒܹܝܬ̣ ܟܵܘ̈ܟ̇ܒܹܐ ܬܣܝܼܡ ܩܸܢܵܟ݂: ܘܐܸܢ ܬܪܝܼܡ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܢܸܫܪܵܐ ܩܸܢܵܟ݂: ܡ̣ܢ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܐܲܚܬ̣ܵܟ݂ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [17]Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all her plagues. |
[17]ܘܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܐܲܕ݂ܘܿܡ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ: ܘܟ݂ܠ ܕܢܸܥܒܲܪ ܥܠܹܝܗ̇: ܢܸܬ̣ܡܲܗ ܘܢܲܫܪܸܩ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܹܝܢ ܡܲܚ̈ܘܵܬ̣ܵܗ̇. |
| [18]As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring cities, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. |
[18]ܘܬܸܬ̣ܗܦܸܟ݂ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܕܲܗܦܲܟ݂ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܠܲܣܕ݂ܘܿܡ ܘܲܠܥܵܡܘܿܪܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܠܵܐ ܢܸܬܸ̇ܒ̣ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܓܒܲܪ: ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܥܡܲܪ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܒܲܪܢܵܫ. |
| [19]Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? |
[19]ܗܵܐ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܐܲܪܝܵܐ ܢܸܣܲܩ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܘܼܫܢܵܐ ܕܝܘܿܪܕ̇ܢܵܢ ܠܕܲܝܪܵܐ ܕܐܵܬ̣ܵܢ: ܘܒܲܥܓܲܠ ܐܸܪܕ̇ܘܿܦ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܡܸܢܵܗ̇: ܘܓܲܕ̇ܘܼ̈ܕܹܐ ܥܠܹܝܗ̇ ܐܸܦܩܘܿܕ݂: ܡܲܢܘܼ ܓܹܝܪ ܐܲܟ݂ܘܵܬ̣ܝ: ܐܵܘ ܡܲܢܘܼ ܢܣܲܗܕܲܢܝ: ܐܵܘ ܐܲܝܢܵܐ ܪܵܥܝܵܐ ܕܲܢܩܘܼܡ ܩܕ݂ܵܡܲܝ. |
| [20]Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. |
[20]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܫܡܲܥܘ ܬܲܪܥܝܼܬܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܕܐܸܬ̣ܪܲܥܝܼ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܕ݂ܘܿܡ: ܘܡܲܚܫܲܒ̣ܬܹܗ ܕܐܸܬ̣ܚܲܫܲܒ̣ ܥܲܠ ܝܵܬ̣ܒܲܝ̈ ܬܲܝܡܲܢ: ܕܢܸܓ̇ܪܘܼܢ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܒܨܝܼܪܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܵـ̈ـܢܵܐ: ܘܢܲܨܕ̇ܘܼܢ ܥܠܝܗܘܿܢ ܕܲܝܪܗܘܢ. |
| [21]The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise of it was heard in the Red sea. |
[21]ܡ̣ܢ ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܡܲܦܘܼܠܬ̇ܗܘܿܢ ܙܵܥܲܬ̤ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܝܑܼܠܠܬܵܗ̇ ܡ̣ܢ ܝܲܡܵܐ ܕܣܘܿܦ ܐܸܫܬ̇ܡܲܥ ܩܵܠܵܗ̇. |
| [22]Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. |
[22]ܗܵܐ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܢܸܫܪܵܐ ܘܲܢܛܘܼܣ: ܘܢܸܦܪܘܿܣ ܓܸܦܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܥܲܠ ܒܘܼܨܵܪ: ܘܢܸܗܘܹܐ ܠܸܒ̇ܗܘܿܢ ܕܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪ̈ܲܝ ܐܲܕ݂ܘܿܡ ܒܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܗܵܘ̇: ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܠܸܒܵܐ ܕܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܡܚܲܒ̇ܠܵܐ ܠܡܹܐܠܲܕ݂. |
| [23]Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are faint-hearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. |
[23]ܥܲܠ ܕܲܪܡܣܘܿܩ ܒܸܗܬܲܬ̤ ܚܡܵܬ̣ ܘܲܪܦܵܕ݂: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܫܡܘܼܥܬܵܐ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ ܫ̣ܡܲܥܘ ܘܐܸܬ̇ܬܲܒܲܪܘ: ܒܝܲܡܵܐ ܕܸܚ̱ܠܬ̣ܵܗ̇: ܘܲܢܝܵܚܵܐ ܠܵܐ ܐܸܫܟ̇ܚܲܬ̤. |
| [24]Damascus hath become feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. |
[24]ܐܸܬ̣ܪܲܦܝܲܬ̤ ܕܲܪܡܣܘܿܩ ܘܐܸܬ̣ܦܲܢܝܲܬ̣ ܠܡܸܥܪܲܩ: ܘܲܪܬܹܝܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܲܚܕܵܗ̇: ܘܥܵܩܬ̣ܵܐ ܘܚܸܒ̣ܠܹ̈ܐ ܐܲܚܕ̇ܘܼܗ̇ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܕܝܵܠܹܕ̇ܬܵܐ. |
| [25]How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! |
[25]ܐܲܝܟܲܢܵܐ ܠܵܐ ܐܸܫܬܲܒ̣ܩܲܬ̤ ܩܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܬܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܚܬܵܐ ܩܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܚܲܕ݂ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ. |
| [26]Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. |
[26]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܢܸܦܠܘܿܢ ܓܲܕ̇ܘܼ̈ܕܹܐ ܒܫܘܼܩܹܝ̈ܗ̇: ܘܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܓܲܒ̣ܪܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܩܪ̈ܲܒ̣ܬ̣ܵܢܹܐ ܢܸܫܬܲܬ̇ܩܘܼܢ. |
| [27]And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Ben-hadad. |
[27]ܒܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܗܵܘ̇ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ: ܐܹܫܒ̇ܘܿܩ ܢܘܼܪܵܐ ܒܫܘܼܩܹܝ̈ܗ̇ ܕܕܲܪܡܣܘܿܩ: ܘܬܹܐܟ݂ܘܿܠ ܣܵܚܪ̈ܵܬܹܗ ܕܒܲܪ ܗܕ݂ܵܕ݂. |
| [28]Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and lay waste the men of the east. |
[28]ܕܥܲܠ ܩܹܕ݂ܵܪ ܘܥܲܠ ܡܲܠ̈ܟ̇ܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܚܵܨܘܿܪ ܕܩܲܛܸܠ ܢܒ̣ܘܼܟܲܕ݂ܢܵܨܲܪ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ. ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܩܘܼܡܘ ܣܲܩܘ ܥܲܠ ܩܹܕ݂ܵܪ: ܘܒ̣ܘܿܙܘ ܠܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܡܲܕ݂ܢ̱ܚܵܐ. |
| [29]Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry to them, Fear is on every side. |
[29]ܡܲܫ̈ܟ̇ܢܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܘܥܵـܢ̈ܗܘܿܢ ܢܸܣܒ̣ܘܿܢ: ܘܝܵܪ̈ܝܼܥܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ ܘܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܵܐܢܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ ܘܓܲܡܠܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ ܢܸܕ݂ܒ̇ܪܘܿܢ ܠܗܘܿܢ: ܘܢܸܩܪܘܿܢ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܡܓܲܪ̈ܝܵܢܹܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܚܕ݂ܵܪ̈ܲܝܗܘܿܢ. |
| [30]Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. |
[30]ܥܪܲܩ̣ܘ ܘܢܵܕ݂ܘ: ܘܥܲܡܸܩ̣ܘ ܠܡܸܬܲܒ̣ ܝܵܬ̣ܒܲܝ̈ ܚܵܨܘܿܪ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܐܸܬ̣ܡܲܠܲܟ݂ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܢܒ̣ܘܼܟܲܕ݂ܢܵܨܲܪ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ: ܘܐܸܬ̣ܚܲܫܲܒ̣ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܚܫܲܒ̣ܬܵܐ: ܘܐܸܡܲܪ. |
| [31]Arise, go up to the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone. |
[31]ܩܘܼܡܘ ܣܲܩܘ ܥܲܠ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܟܲܗܝܼܢܵܐ ܕܝܵܬܹܒ̣ ܒܫܸܠܝܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܕܠܵܐ ܬܲܪ̈ܥܹܐ ܘܠܵܐ ܣܘܼܟ̇ܪܹ̈ܐ ܠܹܗ: ܘܒܲܠܚܘܿܕ݂ܵܘܗܝ ܝܵܬܹܒ̣. |
| [32]And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides of it, saith the LORD. |
[32]ܘܢܸܗܘ̈ܝܵܢ ܓܲܡ̈ܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܠܒܸܙܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܣܘܿܓܲܐܬ̣ ܩܸܢܝܵܢܗܘܿܢ ܠܲܕ݂ܒ̣ܵܪܬܵܐ: ܘܐܸܕ݂ܪܸܐ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܒܟ݂ܠ ܪܘܼܚ ܒܹܝܬ̣ ܩܨܝܼܨܲܝ̈ ܦܲܐܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܸܒ̣ܪ̈ܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܐܲܝܬܹ̇ܐ ܬܒ̣ܵܪܗܘܿܢ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [33]And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it. |
[33]ܘܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܚܵܨܘܿܪ ܡܲܥܡ̄ܪܵܐ ܠܝܵܪ̈ܘܿܪܹܐ: ܘܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ: ܠܵܐ ܢܸܬܸ̇ܒ̣ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܓܒܲܪ: ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܥܡܲܪ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܒܲܪܢܵܫ. |
| [34]The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, |
[34]ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܕܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܹܪܲܡܝܵܐ ܢܒ̣ܝܼܵܐ ܕܢܸܬ̣ܢܲܒܸ̇ܐ ܥܲܠ ܥܝܼܠܲܡ: ܒܪܹܫ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܨܹܕܲܩܝܵܐ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ. |
| [35]Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. |
[35]ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ: ܗܵܐ ܬܵܒܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܩܸܫܬܹ̇ܗ ܕܥܝܼܠܲܡ ܪܹܫ ܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܘܼܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [36]And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them towards all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. |
[36]ܘܐܲܝܬܸ̇ܐ ܥܲܠ ܥܝܼܠܲܡ ܐܲܪܒܲܥ ܪ̈ܘܼܚܹܐ. ܡ̣ܢ ܐܲܪܒܲܥ ܙܵܘ̈ܝܵܬ̣ ܫܡܲܝܵܐ: ܘܐܹܒܲܕܲܪ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܒܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܪ̈ܘܼܚܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ: ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܗܘܹܐ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܕܠܵܐ ܢܸܗܘܘܿܢ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܡܒܲܕ̇ܪܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܝܼܠܲܡ. |
| [37]For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: |
[37]ܘܐܸܬ̣ܒܲܪ ܠܥܝܼܠܲܡ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܒܥܸܠܕ̇ܒ̣ܵܒܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ: ܘܲܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܐܲܝܠܹܝܢ ܕܒ̣ܵܥܹ̇ܝܢ ܢܲܦ̮ܫܗܘܿܢ: ܘܐܲܝܬܸ̇ܐ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ: ܚܸܡܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܪܘܼܓ̣ܙܝ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܐܹܫܲܕܲܪ ܒܗܘܿܢ ܚܲܪܒܵܐ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܕܐܹܓܲܡܲܪ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ. |
| [38]And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD. |
[38]ܘܐܲܪܡܸܐ ܟܘܼܪܣܲܝ ܒܥܝܼܠܲܡ: ܘܐܵܘܒܸ̇ܕ݂ ܡ̣ܢ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܘܫܲܠܝܼܛܵܢܹ̈ܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [39]But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD. |
[39]ܘܒܲܐ̄ܚܪܵܝܑܬ̣ ܝܵܘ̈ܡܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܲܗܦܸܟ݂ ܫܒ̣ܝܼܬ̣ܵܗ̇ ܕܥܝܼܠܲܡ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
