[10]הַנֹּתֵ֣ן מָ֭טָר עַל־פְּנֵי־אָ֑רֶץ וְשֹׁ֥לֵֽחַ מַ֝יִם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י חוּצֹֽות׃ |

[11]לָשׂ֣וּם שְׁפָלִ֣ים לְמָרֹ֑ום וְ֝קֹדְרִ֗ים שָׂ֣גְבוּ יֶֽשַׁע׃ |

[12]מֵ֭פֵר מַחְשְׁבֹ֣ות עֲרוּמִ֑ים וְֽלֹא־תַעֲשֶׂ֥ינָה יְ֝דֵיהֶ֗ם תּוּשִׁיָּֽה׃ |

[13]לֹכֵ֣ד חֲכָמִ֣ים בְּעָרְמָ֑ם וַעֲצַ֖ת נִפְתָּלִ֣ים נִמְהָֽרָה׃ |
| [14]They meetH6298[H8762] with darknessH2822 in the daytimeH3119, and gropeH4959[H8762] in the noondayH6672 as in the nightH3915. |
[14]יֹומָ֥ם יְפַגְּשׁוּ־חֹ֑שֶׁךְ וְ֝כַלַּ֗יְלָה יְֽמַשְׁשׁ֥וּ בַֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃ |
| [15]But he savethH3467[H8686] the poorH34 from the swordH2719, from their mouthH6310, and from the handH3027 of the mightyH2389. |
[15]וַיֹּ֣שַׁע מֵ֭חֶרֶב מִפִּיהֶ֑ם וּמִיַּ֖ד חָזָ֣ק אֶבְיֹֽון׃ |
| [16]So the poorH1800 hath hopeH8615, and iniquityH5766 stoppethH7092[H8804] her mouthH6310. |
[16]וַתְּהִ֣י לַדַּ֣ל תִּקְוָ֑ה וְ֝עֹלָ֗תָה קָ֣פְצָה פִּֽיהָ׃ |
| [17]Behold, happyH835 is the manH582 whom GodH433 correctethH3198[H8686]: therefore despiseH3988[H8799] not thou the chasteningH4148 of the AlmightyH7706: |
[17]הִנֵּ֤ה אַשְׁרֵ֣י אֱ֭נֹושׁ יֹוכִחֶ֣נּֽוּ אֱלֹ֑והַּ וּמוּסַ֥ר דַּ֗י אַל־תִּמְאָֽס׃ |

[18]כִּ֤י ה֣וּא יַכְאִ֣יב וְיֶחְבָּ֑שׁ יִ֝מְחַ֗ץ [וְיָדֹו כ] (וְיָדָ֥יו ק) תִּרְפֶּֽינָה׃ |

[19]בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ צָ֭רֹות יַצִּילֶ֑ךָּ וּבְשֶׁ֓בַע ׀ לֹא־יִגַּ֖ע בְּךָ֣ רָֽע׃ |
| [20]In famineH7458 he shall redeemH6299[H8804] thee from deathH4194: and in warH4421 from the powerH3027 of the swordH2719. |
[20]בְּ֭רָעָב פָּֽדְךָ֣ מִמָּ֑וֶת וּ֝בְמִלְחָמָ֗ה מִ֣ידֵי חָֽרֶב׃ |
| [21]Thou shalt be hidH2244[H8735] from the scourgeH7752 of the tongueH3956: neither shalt thou be afraidH3372[H8799] of destructionH7701 when it comethH935.[H8799] |
[21]בְּשֹׁ֣וט לָ֭שֹׁון תֵּחָבֵ֑א וְֽלֹא־תִירָ֥א מִ֝שֹּׁ֗ד כִּ֣י יָבֹֽוא׃ |
| [22]At destructionH7701 and famineH3720 thou shalt laughH7832[H8799]: neither shalt thou be afraidH3372[H8799] of the beastsH2416 of the earthH776. |
[22]לְשֹׁ֣ד וּלְכָפָ֣ן תִּשְׂחָ֑ק וּֽמֵחַיַּ֥ת הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ אַל־תִּירָֽא׃ |
| [23]For thou shalt be in leagueH1285 with the stonesH68 of the fieldH7704: and the beastsH2416 of the fieldH7704 shall be at peaceH7999 with theeH8717. |
[23]כִּ֤י עִם־אַבְנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֣ה בְרִיתֶ֑ךָ וְחַיַּ֥ת הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה הָשְׁלְמָה־לָֽךְ׃ |
| [24]And thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] that thy tabernacleH168 shall be in peaceH7965; and thou shalt visitH6485[H8804] thy habitationH5116, and shalt not sinH2398.[H8799] |
[24]וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ כִּי־שָׁלֹ֣ום אָהֳלֶ֑ךָ וּֽפָקַדְתָּ֥ נָ֝וְךָ וְלֹ֣א תֶחֱטָֽא׃ |
| [25]Thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] also that thy seedH2233 shall be greatH7227, and thine offspringH6631 as the grassH6212 of the earthH776. |
[25]וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ כִּי־רַ֣ב זַרְעֶ֑ךָ וְ֝צֶאֱצָאֶ֗יךָ כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
| [26]Thou shalt comeH935[H8799] to thy graveH6913 in a full ageH3624, like as a shock of cornH1430 cometh inH5927[H8800] in his seasonH6256. |
[26]תָּבֹ֣וא בְכֶ֣לַח אֱלֵי־קָ֑בֶר כַּעֲלֹ֖ות גָּדִ֣ישׁ בְּעִתֹּֽו׃ |
| [27]Lo this, we have searchedH2713[H8804] it, so it is; hearH8085[H8798] it, and knowH3045 thou it for thy goodH8798. |
[27]הִנֵּה־זֹ֭את חֲקַרְנ֥וּהָ כֶּֽן־הִ֑יא מָעֶ֗נָּה וְאַתָּ֥ה דַֽע־לָֽךְ׃ |
