[1]Now Jericho was shut up, and closed, because of the children of Israel: none might go out nor enter in. |

[2]And the Lord said unto Joshua, Behold, I have given into thine hand Jericho and the king thereof, and the strong men of war. |

[3]All ye therefore that be men of war, shall compass the city, in going round about the city once: thus shall you do six days: |

[4]And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. |

[5]And when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout: then shall the wall of the city fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up, every man straight before him. |

[6]Then Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord. |

[7]But he said unto the people, Go and compass the city: and let him that is armed, go forth before the ark of the Lord. |
| [8]καίC ἑπτάM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM ἔχωV1-PAPNPM ἑπτάM σάλπιγξN3G-APF ἱερόςA1A-APF παραἔρχομαιVB-AAD3P ὡσαύτωςD ἐναντίονP ὁRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM καίC σημαίνωV1-PAD3P εὐτόνωςD καίC ὁRA-NSF κιβωτόςN2-NSF ὁRA-GSF διαθήκηN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM ἐπιἀκολουθέωV2-PAD3S |
[8]And when Joshua had spoken unto the people, the seven priests bear the seven trumpets of rams' horns, and went forth before the ark of the Lord, and blew with the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them. |

[9]And the men of arms went before the priests that blew the trumpets: then the gathering host came after the ark, as they went and blew the trumpets. |
| [10]ὁRA-DSM δέX λαόςN2-DSM ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM μήD βοάωV3-PAD2P μηδέC ἀκούωVA-AAD3S μηδείςA3-NSM σύRP-GP ὁRA-ASF φωνήN1-ASF ἕωςC ἄνX ἡμέραN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-NSM διαἀγγέλλωVA-AAS3S ἀναβοάωVA-AAN καίC τότεD ἀναβοάωVF-FAI2P |
[10](Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, neither make any noise with your voice, neither shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day that I say unto you, Shout, then shall ye shout) |
| [11]καίC περιἔρχομαιVB-AAPNSF ὁRA-NSF κιβωτόςN2-NSF ὁRA-GSF διαθήκηN1-GSF ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF εὐθέωςD ἀποἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S εἰςP ὁRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF καίC κοιμάωVCI-API3S ἐκεῖD |
[11]So the ark of the Lord compassed the city, and went about it once: then they returned into the host, and lodged in the camp. |
| [12]καίC ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-DSF δεύτεροςA1A-DSF ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC αἴρωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM ὁRA-ASF κιβωτόςN2-ASF ὁRA-GSF διαθήκηN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM |
[12]And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests bear the ark of the Lord: |
| [13]καίC ὁRA-NPM ἑπτάM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM ὁRA-NPM φέρωV1-PAPNPM ὁRA-APF σάλπιγξN3G-APF ὁRA-APF ἑπτάM προπορεύομαιV1I-IMI3P ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM καίC μετάP οὗτοςRD-APN εἰςπορεύομαιV1I-IMI3P ὁRA-NPM μάχιμοςA1-NPM καίC ὁRA-NSM λοιπόςA1-NSM ὄχλοςN2-NSM ὄπισθεP ὁRA-GSF κιβωτόςN2-GSF ὁRA-GSF διαθήκηN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM σαλπίζωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-DPF σάλπιγξN3G-DPF καίC ὁRA-NSM λοιπόςA1-NSM ὄχλοςN2-NSM ἅπαςA3-NSM περικυκλόωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF ἐγγύθενD |
[13]Also seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns, and went before the ark of the Lord, and going blew with the trumpets: and the men of arms went before them, but the gathering host came after the ark of the Lord, as they went and blew the trumpets. |
| [14]καίC ἀποἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S πάλινD εἰςP ὁRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF οὕτωςD ποιέωV2I-IAI3S ἐπίP ἕξM ἡμέραN1A-APF |
[14]And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the host: thus they did six days. |
| [15]καίC ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἕβδομοςA1-DSF ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3P ὄρθροςN2-GSM καίC περιἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF ἑξάκιςD |
[15]And when the seventh day came, they rose early, even with the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only that day they compassed the city seven times. |
| [16]καίC ὁRA-DSF περίοδοςN2-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἕβδομοςA1-DSF σαλπίζωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM κράζωVAI-AAD2P παραδίδωμιVAI-AAI3S γάρX κύριοςN2-NSM σύRP-DP ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF |
[16]And when the priests had blown the trumpets the seventh time, Joshua said unto the people, Shout: for the Lord hath given you the city. |
| [17]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF πόλιςN3I-NSF ἀνάθεμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-NSF καίC πᾶςA3-NPN ὅσοςA1-NPN εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSF κύριοςN2-DSM σαβαωθN--G πλήνC *ρααβN--AS ὁRA-ASF πόρνηN1-ASF περιποιέωVA-AMD2P αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC ὅσοςA1-APN εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[17]And the city shall be an execrable thing, both it, and all that are therein, unto the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she, and all that are with her in the house: for she hid the messengers that we sent. |
| [18]ἀλλάC σύRP-NP φυλάσσωVA-AMD2P σφόδραD ἀπόP ὁRA-GSN ἀνάθεμαN3M-GSN μήποτεD ἐνθυμέομαιVC-APPNPM σύRP-NP αὐτόςRD-NPM λαμβάνωVB-AAS2P ἀπόP ὁRA-GSN ἀνάθεμαN3M-GSN καίC ποιέωVA-AAS2P ὁRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἀνάθεμαN3M-ASN καίC ἐκτρίβωVA-AAS2P ἐγώRP-AP |
[18]Notwithstanding, be ye aware of the execrable thing, lest ye make yourselves execrable, and in taking of the execrable thing, make also the host of Israel execrable, and trouble it. |
| [19]καίC πᾶςA3-NSN ἀργύριονN2N-NSN ἤC χρυσίονN2N-NSN ἤC χαλκόςN2-NSM ἤC σίδηροςN2-NSM ἅγιοςA1A-NSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM εἰςP θησαυρόςN2-ASM κύριοςN2-GSM εἰςφέρωVQ-FPI3S |
[19]But all silver, and gold, and vessels of brass, and iron shall be consecrated unto the Lord, and shall come into the Lord's treasury. |
| [20]καίC σαλπίζωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-DPF σάλπιγξN3G-DPF ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM ὡςC δέX ἀκούωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF φωνήN1-ASF ὁRA-GPF σάλπιγξN3G-GPF ἀλαλάζωVAI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ἅμαD ἀλαλαγμόςN2-DSM μέγαςA1-DSM καίC ἰσχυρόςA1A-DSM καίC πίπτωVAI-AAI3S ἅπαςA3P-NSN ὁRA-NSN τεῖχοςN3E-NSN κύκλοςN2-DSM καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF |
[20]So the people shouted, when they had blown trumpets: for when the people had heard the sound of the trumpet, they shouted with a great shout: and the wall fell down flat: so the people went up into the city, every man straight before him: and they took the city. |
| [21]καίC ἀναθεματίζωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF *ἰησοῦςN--NSM καίC ὅσοςA1-APN εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSF πόλιςN3I-DSF ἀπόP ἀνήρN3-GSM καίC ἕωςP γυνήN3K-GSF ἀπόP νεανίσκοςN2-GSM καίC ἕωςP πρεσβύτηςN1M-GSM καίC ἕωςP μόσχοςN2-GSM καίC ὑποζύγιονN2-GSN ἐνP στόμαN3M-DSN ῥομφαίαN1A-GSF |
[21]And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young, and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. |
| [22]καίC ὁRA-DPM δύοM--DPM νεανίσκοςN2-DPM ὁRA-DPM κατασκοπεύωVA-AAPDPM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAD2P εἰςP ὁRA-ASF οἰκίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSF γυνήN3K-GSF καίC ἐκἄγωVB-AAD2P αὐτόςRD-ASF ἐκεῖθενD καίC ὅσοςA1-APN εἰμίV9-PAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSF |
[22]But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye swear to her. |
| [23]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM δύοM νεανίσκοςN2-NPM ὁRA-NPM κατασκοπεύωVA-AAPNPM ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASF οἰκίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSF γυνήN3K-GSF καίC ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3P *ρααβN--AS ὁRA-ASF πόρνηN1-ASF καίC ὁRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ὁRA-ASF μήτηρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ὁRA-APM ἀδελφόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-APN ὅσοςA1-NPN εἰμίV9-IAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSF καίC πᾶςA1S-ASF ὁRA-ASF συγγένειαN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC καταἵστημιVHI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASF ἔξωP ὁRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[23]So the young men that were spies, went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had: also they brought out all her family, and put them without the host of Israel. |
| [24]καίC ὁRA-NSF πόλιςN3I-NSF ἐνπίπρημιVCI-API3S ἐμπυρισμόςN2-DSM σύνP πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSF πλήνP ἀργύριονN2N-GSN καίC χρυσίονN2N-GSN καίC χαλκόςN2-GSM καίC σίδηροςN2-GSM δίδωμιVAI-AAI3P εἰςP θησαυρόςN2-ASM κύριοςN2-GSM εἰςφέρωVQ-APN |
[24]After, they burned the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver and the gold, and the vessels of brass and iron, they put unto the treasure of the house of the Lord. |
| [25]καίC *ρααβN--AS ὁRA-ASF πόρνηN1-ASF καίC πᾶςA3-ASM ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM πατρικόςA1-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF ζωγρέωVAI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM καίC καταοἰκέωVAI-AAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM *ἰσραήλN--DSM ἕωςP ὁRA-GSF σήμερονD ἡμέραN1A-GSF διότιC κρύπτωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APM κατασκοπεύωVA-AAPAPM ὅςRR-APM ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM κατασκοπεύωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASF *ιεριχωN--ASF |
[25]So Joshua saved Rahab the harlot, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelt in Israel even unto this day, because she had hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. |
| [26]καίC ὁρκίζωVAI-AAI3S *ἰησοῦςN--NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἐπικατάρατοςA1B-NSM ὁRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ὅςRR-NSM οἰκοδομέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF ἐκεῖνοςRD-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DSM πρωτότοκοςA1B-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM θεμελιόωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ἐλαχύςA1-DSMS αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπιἵστημιVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APF πύληN1-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC οὕτωςD ποιέωVAI-AAI3S *οζανN--NSM ὁRA-NSM ἐκP *βαιθηλN--GS ἐνP ὁRA-DSM *αβιρωνN--DS ὁRA-DSM πρωτότοκοςA1B-DSM θεμελιόωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ἐλαχύςA1-DSMS διασώζωVC-APPDSM ἐπιἵστημιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APF πύληN1-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[26]And Joshua swear at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up, and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his eldest son, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. |

[27]So the Lord was with Joshua, and he was famous through all the world. |
