[1]Not you will judge lest you should be judged |
[1]JUDGE not, that you be not judged. |
[2]In the judgment for that judge you you will be judged and with the measure that measure you it will be measured to you |
[2]For with the judgment that you judge, you shall be judged; and with the measure that you mete, it shall be measured to you. |
[3]Why? but notice you a chip that is in the eye of your brother and the plank that is in your eye not observe you |
[3]But why dost thou look at the rod that is in thy brother's eye, while the rafter that is in thine own eye thou dost not consider? |
[4]Or How? say you to your brother allow me to cast out the chip from your eye and behold a plank is in your eye |
[4]Or how sayest thou to thy brother, Permit that I draw forth the rod from thine eye, and, behold, there is a rafter in thine own eye? |
[5]Receiver of faces cast out first the plank from your eye and then will observe you to cast out a chip from the eye of your brother |
[5]Hypocrite! draw forth first the rafter from thine own eye, and then thou wilt see to draw forth the rod from thy brother's eye. |
[6]Do not give you a sacrifice to dogs neither you throw your pearls before wild boars lest they trample them with their feet and they return to run you through |
[6]Give not the holy unto dogs, and throw not your precious stones before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. |
[7]Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you |
[7]Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. |
[8]Everyone for who asks receives and he who seeks finds and to the one who knocks it is opened to him |
[8]For every one who asketh receiveth, and he who seeketh findeth; and to him who knocketh it is opened. |
[9]Or who is? among you the man whose will ask him son for bread will? a stone he hold out to him |
[9]Or what man from among you, who if his son shall ask bread, will reach forth a stone to him? |
[10]And if a fish he will ask him will? a snake he hold out to him |
[10]Or if a fish he shall ask of him, a serpent will he reach forth to him? |
[11]And if therefore you who evil are knowing you are gifts good to give to your children how much? more your Father Who is in Heaven will give good things to those who ask Him |
[11]If, therefore, you who are evil know to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him? |
[12]Everything whatever desire you to do to you the children of men likewise also you do to them this is for the Law and the Prophets |
[12]All therefore that you will that men shall do unto you, so also do you unto them: for this is the law and the prophets. |
[13]Enter the gate narrow for wide is the gate and spacious the road which leads to destruction and many are those who are going in it |
[13]ENTER in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and spacious the way, that conducteth to destruction; and they are many who go therein. |
[14]How! is narrow the gate and is strict the way that leads to life and few are those who find it |
[14]How small is the gate, and narrow the way, that leadeth unto salvation; and they are few who find it! |
[15]Beware of prophets false who come to you in clothing of lambs from within but they are wolves plundering |
[15]Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but within are ravening wolves. |
[16]By their fruit but you will know them do? they gather from thorns grapes or from thistles figs |
[16]By their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather from thorns grapes, or from briers figs? |
[17]So every tree good fruit good produces a tree but bad fruit bad produces |
[17]So every good tree maketh good fruits; but an evil tree maketh evil fruits. |
[18]Not is able a tree good fruit bad to produce neither a tree bad fruit good to produce |
[18]A good tree cannot make evil fruits, nor an evil tree make good fruits. |
[19]Every tree that not does produce fruit good is cut down and into fire falls |
[19]Every tree that maketh not good fruits is cut down, and falleth into the fire. |
[20]Therefore by their fruit you will know them |
[20]Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. |
[21]Not it is everyone who says to Me my Lord my Lord who enters the kingdom of Heaven but whoever does the will of my Father Who is in Heaven |
[21]Not every one that saith to me, My Lord, my Lord, entereth into the kingdom of heaven; but he who doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. |
[22]Many will say to Me in that day my Lord my Lord not? in Your Name have we prophesied and in Your Name demons we have cast out and in your name powerful works many we have done |
[22]Multitudes will say to me in that day My Lord, my Lord, in thy name have we not prophesied, and in thy name ejected devils, and in thy name performed many mighty works? |
[23]And then I will profess to them that from the beginning of time not I have known you remove far yourselves from Me workers of evil |
[23]And then will I confess to them, I never knew you; go far from me, ye workers of iniquity. |
[24]Everyone therefore who hears My words these and does them will be likened to the man wise he who built his house on solid rock |
[24]Every one therefore who heareth these my words, and doeth them, shall be likened to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock. |
[25]And descended the rain and they came the floods and blew the wind and they rushed against it against house that and not it fell its foundation for on solid rock laid was |
[25]And the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and rushed against that house, but it fell not, for its foundations were placed upon the rock. |
[26]And everyone who hears My words these and not does them will be likened to the man foolish who built his house on sand |
[26]And every one who heareth these my words, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a man who built his house upon sand. |
[27]And descended the rain and came the floods and blew the wind and they rushed against house that and it fell and was its fall great |
[27]And the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and rushed against that house, and it fell, and the ruin of it was great. |
[28]And had when finished Ieshu words these marveling were the crowds at His teaching |
[28]And when Jeshu had finished these words, the multitudes wondered at his doctrine. |
[29]Teaching He was them for as one having authority and not as their Scribes and The Pharisees |
[29]For he taught them as one having power, and not as their scribes and the Pharishee. |
