| [1]לְדָוִד מִזְמֹור לַיהוָה הָאָרֶץ וּמְלֹואָהּ תֵּבֵל וְיֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ׃ |
[1]THE earth is the LORD'S and the fulness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein. |
| [2]כִּי־הוּא עַל־יַמִּים יְסָדָהּ וְעַל־נְהָרֹות יְכֹונְנֶהָ׃ |
[2]For he has set the foundation thereof in the sea, and has furnished it with rivers. |
| [3]מִי־יַעֲלֶה בְהַר־יְהוָה וּמִי־יָקוּם בִּמְקֹום קָדְשֹׁו׃ |
[3]Who shall ascend into the mountain of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? |
| [4]נְקִי כַפַּיִם וּבַר־לֵבָב אֲשֶׁר לֹא־נָשָׂא לַשָּׁוְא נַפְשִׁי וְלֹא נִשְׁבַּע לְמִרְמָה׃ |
[4]He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not sworn by his soul falsely, nor taken an oath deceitfully. |
| [5]יִשָּׂא בְרָכָה מֵאֵת יְהוָה וּצְדָקָה מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֹו׃ |
[5]He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from God our Saviour. |
| [6]זֶה דֹּור דֹּרְשֹׁו [Q: דֹּרְשָׁיו] מְבַקְשֵׁי פָנֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה׃ |
[6]This is the generation of them that seek thy face, that proclaim thy countenance, O thou God of Jacob. |
| [7]שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים רָאשֵׁיכֶם וְהִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עֹולָם וְיָבֹוא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד׃ |
[7]Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, O everlasting doors, that the King of glory may come in. |
| [8]מִי זֶה מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד יְהוָה עִזּוּז וְגִבֹּור יְהוָה גִּבֹּור מִלְחָמָה׃ |
[8]Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. |
| [9]שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים רָאשֵׁיכֶם וּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עֹולָם וְיָבֹא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד׃ |
[9]Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, O everlasting doors, that the King of glory may come in. |
| [10]מִי הוּא זֶה מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד יְהוָה צְבָאֹות הוּא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד סֶלָה׃ |
[10]Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory forever. |
