Reconstruction of Eberhard Nestle's Greek NT (1904)
Nestle
Peshitta (Lamsa, 1933)
Pes(Lam)
[No book] [1]THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and abominable in their iniquities; and there is none that does good.
[No book] [2]God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
[No book] [3]Every one of them has gone astray; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no, not one.
[No book] [4]These people no longer recognize evil; they have consumed my people like bread; they have no respect for God.
[No book] [5]There they feared where no fear was; for God has scattered the bones of hypocrites; they have been ashamed, because God has despised them.
[No book] [6]Who out of Zion will give salvation to Israel? When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad.
