[1]Paul a servant of Alaha and apostle of Ieshu The Messiah in the faith of the chosen of Alaha and of knowledge of the truth which is in the reverence of Alaha |
[1]PAULOS, a servant of Aloha, and apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, for the faith of the chosen ones of Aloha, and the knowledge of the truth which is in the fear of Aloha; |
[2]Upon the hope of life eternal that promised Alaha The True before the times of the world |
[2]Unto the hope of eternal life, which Aloha the true counselled before the times of the ages, |
[3]And He has revealed His word in His time by our preaching that with which was entrusted I by the commandment of Alaha our Lifegiver |
[3]And his word hath revealed in his time by our preaching, which was confided to me by the command of Aloha our Saviour: |
[4]To Titus a son true in the faith inner grace and peace from Alaha The Father and from our Lord Ieshu The Messiah our Lifegiver |
[4]To Titos, my true son in the common faith. Grace and peace from Aloha the Father and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha our Saviour. |
[5]Because of this it is I left you I had in Qrete that those things that are deficient you may set right and ordain elders in city by city just as I ordered you |
[5]For this I left thee in Kreta, that those things which were wanting thou mayest rectify, and constitute presbyters in every city as I commanded thee. |
[6]One who without fault is and has been the husband of one wife and is to him children believing who not are abusive and not they are without subjection in immorality |
[6]Him who is without blame, and isⓘ the husband of one wife, and who hath believing children, who are not vicious nor addicted to intemperance. |
[7]Obliged is for an elder to be without faults as a steward of Alaha and not to be governed by mind his own neither to be bad tempered neither to be excessive with wine neither should be quick his hand to strike neither to be loving riches filthy |
[7]For a presbyter is bound to be without blame, as the steward of Aloha; he shall not be led by the will of self, nor be irascible, nor a transgressor over wine, neither shall his hand be hasty to strike, nor shall he be a lover of sordid gains. |
[8]But he should love strangers and should love goodness and should be modest and should be just and should be holy and keeps himself from lusts |
[8]But he shall be a lover of guests, and a lover of the good, and be chaste, and equitable, and holy, and withholding himself from lusts; |
[9]And it is a concern to him for the teaching of the word of faith to be able also to comfort by his teaching sound and to rebuke those who are contentious |
[9]And careful over the doctrine of the word of faith, that he may be able also to comfort by his teaching the healthy, and to reprove those who are contentious. |
[10]There are for many who not are submissive and are empty their words and they deceive minds of children of men especially those who from the circumcision are |
[10]For there are many who are not in subjection, and whose words are vain, and make the minds of men to err, especially those of the circumcision, |
[11]Those it is necessary to stop up their mouths households for many they destroy and they teach what that not is right for riches filthy |
[11]Those, whose mouths it behoves to stop. Many houses they destroy, and teach what they ought not, for the sake of filthy gain. |
[12]Said a man from them a prophet their own "sons of Qrete always liars are beasts wicked and bellies idle |
[12]One of them, a prophet of their own, hath said, The sons of Kreta are always liars, evil beasts, and lazy bellies. |
[13]And truly he has brought testimony this because of this severely do rebuke them that they will be sound in faith |
[13]And true is this testimony. Wherefore reprove them severely, that they may be sound in the faith, |
[14]And not should yield to fables of the Jews |
[14]Nor cast themselves to the fables of the Jihudoyee, and to the mandates of men who hate the truth. |
[15]Everything for pure is to the pure to those but who are defiled and not believing anything that is pure there is not to them but defiled is their mind and their conscience |
[15]For every thing is pure to the pure; but to those who are polluted and unfaithful nothing is pure; but their understanding and their conscience are polluted. |
[16]And they profess that they know to Alaha by their works but they reject Him and they are enemies and without obedience and rejected to every work good |
[16]And they profess to know Aloha, but in their works they deny him, and are abominable and disobedient, and reprobate to every good work. |
