[1]ASK from the LORD rain in the season of latter rain; and the LORD shall make gentle showers, and give you the early rain which causes the grass to grow in the field. |
| [2]διότιC ὁRA-NPM ἀποφθέγγομαιV1-PAPNPM λαλέωVAI-AAI3P κόποςN2-APM καίC ὁRA-NPM μάντιςN3I-NPM ὅρασιςN3I-NPF ψευδήςA3H-NPF καίC ὁRA-APN ἐνύπνιονN2N-APN ψευδήςA3H-APN λαλέωV2I-IAI3P μάταιοςA1A-APN παρακαλέωV2I-IAI3P διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ἐκαἴρωVCI-API3P ὡςC πρόβατονN2N-APN καίC ἐκκακόωVAI-API3P διότιC οὐD εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἴασιςN3I-NSF |
[2]For the learned men have spoken iniquity, and the diviners have seen a lie and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain; therefore the people went their way like a flock, they were afflicted because they had no shepherd. |
| [3]ἐπίP ὁRA-APM ποιμήνN3-APM παραὀξύνωVCI-API3S ὁRA-NSM θυμόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GS καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APM ἀμνόςN2-APM ἐπισκέπτομαιVF-FMI1S καίC ἐπισκέπτομαιVF-FMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ὁRA-ASN ποίμνιονN2-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM *ιουδαN--GSM καίC τάσσωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM ὡςC ἵπποςN2-ASM εὐπρεπήςA3H-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνP πόλεμοςN2-DSM |
[3]My anger is raging against the shepherds, and I will punish the flocks; for the LORD of hosts has visited his flock the house of Judah, and has made them as a splendid horse in the battle. |
| [4]καίC ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπιβλέπωVAI-AAI3S καίC ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM τάσσωVAI-AAI3S καίC ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM τόξονN2N-NSN ἐνP θυμόςN2-DSM ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM ἐκἐλαύνωV1-PAPNSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSN αὐτόςRD-DSN |
[4]Out of them shall come forth the cornerstone, out of them the nail, out of them the battle bow, and out of them all their rulers together |
| [5]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ὡςC μαχητήςN1M-NPM πατέωV2-PAPNPM πηλόςN2-ASM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ὁδόςN2-DPF ἐνP πόλεμοςN2-DSM καίC παρατάσσωVF-FMI3P διότιC κύριοςN2-NSM μετάP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC κατααἰσχύνωVC-FPI3P ἀναβάτηςN1M-NPM ἵπποςN2-GPM |
[5]And they shall be like mighty men who tread mire in the streets in the battle; they shall fight because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. |
| [6]καίC καταἰσχύωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM *ιουδαN--GSM καίC ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM *ιωσηφN--GSM σώζωVF-FAI1S καίC καταοἰκίζωVF2-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ὅτιC ἀγαπάωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM οὐD ἀποστρέφωVAI-AMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπιἀκούωVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM |
[6]And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back again; for I will have mercy upon them; and they shall be as though I had not forgotten them; for I am the LORD God and will answer them. |
| [7]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ὡςC μαχητήςN1M-NPM ὁRA-GSM *ἐφράιμN--GSM καίC χαίρωVD-FPI3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὡςC ἐνP οἶνοςN2-DSM καίC ὁRA-NPN τέκνονN2N-NPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ὁράωVF-FMI3P καίC εὐφραίνωVC-FPI3P καίC χαίρωVF2-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐπίP ὁRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM |
[7]And they shall become like the mighty men of Ephraim, and their hearts shall rejoice as with wine; yea, their children shall see it and be glad; their hearts shall rejoice in the LORD. |
| [8]σημαίνωVF2-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC εἰςδέχομαιVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM διότιC λυτρόωVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC πληθύνωVC-FPI3P καθότιD εἰμίV9-IAI3P πολύςA1-NPM |
[8]I will whistle for them and gather them; for I will save them; and they shall increase as they were before increased. |
| [9]καίC σπείρωVF2-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP λαόςN2-DPM καίC ὁRA-NPM μακράνD μιμνήσκωVS-FPI3P ἐγώRP-GS ἐκτρέφωVF-FAI3P ὁRA-APN τέκνονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπιστρέφωVF-FAI3P |
[9]And I will scatter them among the nations, yet they shall praise me in far countries; and they shall rear their children and return again. |
| [10]καίC ἐπιστρέφωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ἐκP *ἀσσύριοςN2-GSM εἰςδέχομαιVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC εἰςP ὁRA-ASF *γαλααδῖτιςN3-ASF καίC εἰςP ὁRA-ASM *λίβανοςN2-ASM εἰςἄγωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC οὐD μήD ὑπολείπωVV-APS3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐδέC εἷςA3-NSM |
[10]And I will bring them back from the land of Egypt and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them back to the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and the lands shall not be enough for them. |
| [11]καίC διαἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P ἐνP θάλασσαN1S-DSF στενόςA1-DSF καίC πατάσσωVF-FAI3P ἐνP θάλασσαN1S-DSF κῦμαN3M-APN καίC ξηραίνωVC-FPI3S πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN βάθοςN3E-APN ποταμόςN2-GPM καίC ἀποαἱρέωVC-FPI3S πᾶςA1S-NSF ὕβριςN3I-NSF *ἀσσύριοςN2-GSM καίC σκῆπτρονN2N-NSN *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF περιαἱρέωVC-FPI3S |
[11]And they shall pass through the sea of affliction, and he shall turn back the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the river shall dry up; and the pride of Assyria shall cease, and the government of Egypt shall pass away. |
| [12]καίC καταἰσχύωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP κύριοςN2-DSM θεόςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN αὐτόςRD-GSM κατακαυχάομαιVF-FMI3P λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[12]And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall preach the good tidings of his name, says the LORD |
