| [1]וַיַּרְאֵ֗נִי אֶת־יְהֹושֻׁ֙עַ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּדֹ֔ול עֹמֵ֕ד לִפְנֵ֖י מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֑ה וְהַשָּׂטָ֛ן עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־יְמִינֹ֖ו לְשִׂטְנֹֽו׃ |
[1]And he shewedH7200[H8686] me JoshuaH3091 the highH1419 priestH3548 standingH5975[H8802] beforeH6440 the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068, and SatanH7854 standingH5975[H8802] at his right handH3225 to resistH7853 himH8800. |
| [2]וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ן יִגְעַ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה בְּךָ֙ הַשָּׂטָ֔ן וְיִגְעַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ בְּךָ֔ הַבֹּחֵ֖ר בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם הֲלֹ֧וא זֶ֦ה א֖וּד מֻצָּ֥ל מֵאֵֽשׁ׃ |
[2]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto SatanH7854, The LORDH3068 rebukeH1605[H8799] thee, O SatanH7854; even the LORDH3068 that hath chosenH977[H8802] JerusalemH3389 rebukeH1605[H8799] thee: is not this a brandH181 pluckedH5337[H8716] out of the fireH784? |
| [3]וִיהֹושֻׁ֕עַ הָיָ֥ה לָבֻ֖שׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים צֹואִ֑ים וְעֹמֵ֖ד לִפְנֵ֥י הַמַּלְאָֽךְ׃ |
[3]Now JoshuaH3091 was clothedH3847[H8803] with filthyH6674 garmentsH899, and stoodH5975[H8802] beforeH6440 the angelH4397. |
| [4]וַיַּ֣עַן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אֶל־הָעֹמְדִ֤ים לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָסִ֛ירוּ הַבְּגָדִ֥ים הַצֹּאִ֖ים מֵעָלָ֑יו וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו רְאֵ֨ה הֶעֱבַ֤רְתִּי מֵעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ עֲוֹנֶ֔ךָ וְהַלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֹתְךָ֖ מַחֲלָצֹֽות׃ |
[4]And he answeredH6030[H8799] and spakeH559[H8799] unto those that stoodH5975[H8802] beforeH6440 him, sayingH559[H8800], Take awayH5493[H8685] the filthyH6674 garmentsH899 from him. And unto him he saidH559[H8799], BeholdH7200[H8798], I have caused thine iniquityH5771 to passH5674[H8689] from thee, and I will clotheH3847[H8687] thee with change of raimentH4254. |
| [5]וָאֹמַ֕ר יָשִׂ֛ימוּ צָנִ֥יף טָהֹ֖ור עַל־רֹאשֹׁ֑ו וַיָּשִׂימוּ֩ הַצָּנִ֨יף הַטָּהֹ֜ור עַל־רֹאשֹׁ֗ו וַיַּלְבִּשֻׁ֙הוּ֙ בְּגָדִ֔ים וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה עֹמֵֽד׃ |
[5]And I saidH559[H8799], Let them setH7760[H8799] a fairH2889 mitreH6797 upon his headH7218. So they setH7760[H8799] a fairH2889 mitreH6797 upon his headH7218, and clothedH3847[H8686] him with garmentsH899. And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 stood byH5975.[H8802] |
| [6]וַיָּ֙עַד֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה בִּיהֹושֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
[6]And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 protestedH5749[H8686] unto JoshuaH3091, sayingH559,[H8800] |
| [7]כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאֹ֗ות אִם־בִּדְרָכַ֤י תֵּלֵךְ֙ וְאִ֣ם אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֣י תִשְׁמֹ֔ר וְגַם־אַתָּה֙ תָּדִ֣ין אֶת־בֵּיתִ֔י וְגַ֖ם תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר אֶת־חֲצֵרָ֑י וְנָתַתִּ֤י לְךָ֙ מַהְלְכִ֔ים בֵּ֥ין הָעֹמְדִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ |
[7]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635; If thou wilt walkH3212[H8799] in my waysH1870, and if thou wilt keepH8104[H8799] my chargeH4931, then thou shalt also judgeH1777[H8799] my houseH1004, and shalt also keepH8104[H8799] my courtsH2691, and I will giveH5414[H8804] thee places to walkH4108[H8688] among these that stand byH5975.[H8802] |
| [8]שְֽׁמַֽע־נָ֞א יְהֹושֻׁ֣עַ ׀ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּדֹ֗ול אַתָּה֙ וְרֵעֶ֙יךָ֙ הַיֹּשְׁבִ֣ים לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כִּֽי־אַנְשֵׁ֥י מֹופֵ֖ת הֵ֑מָּה כִּֽי־הִנְנִ֥י מֵבִ֛יא אֶת־עַבְדִּ֖י צֶֽמַח׃ |
[8]HearH8085[H8798] now, O JoshuaH3091 the highH1419 priestH3548, thou, and thy fellowsH7453 that sitH3427[H8802] beforeH6440 thee: for they are menH582 wondered atH4159: for, behold, I will bring forthH935[H8688] my servantH5650 the BRANCHH6780. |
| [9]כִּ֣י ׀ הִנֵּ֣ה הָאֶ֗בֶן אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָתַ֙תִּי֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹושֻׁ֔עַ עַל־אֶ֥בֶן אַחַ֖ת שִׁבְעָ֣ה עֵינָ֑יִם הִנְנִ֧י מְפַתֵּ֣חַ פִּתֻּחָ֗הּ נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאֹ֔ות וּמַשְׁתִּ֛י אֶת־עֲוֹ֥ן הָאָֽרֶץ־הַהִ֖יא בְּיֹ֥ום אֶחָֽד׃ |
[9]For behold the stoneH68 that I have laidH5414[H8804] beforeH6440 JoshuaH3091; upon oneH259 stoneH68 shall be sevenH7651 eyesH5869: behold, I will engraveH6605[H8764] the gravingH6603 thereof, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, and I will removeH4185[H8804] the iniquityH5771 of that landH776 in oneH259 dayH3117. |
| [10]בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֗וּא נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאֹ֔ות תִּקְרְא֖וּ אִ֣ישׁ לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ אֶל־תַּ֥חַת גֶּ֖פֶן וְאֶל־תַּ֥חַת תְּאֵנָֽה׃ |
[10]In that dayH3117, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, shall ye callH7121[H8799] every manH376 his neighbourH7453 under the vineH1612 and under the fig treeH8384. |
