[1]καίC ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S *ιωσηφN--NSMRA-DSM εἰμίV9-PAPDSM ἐπίPRA-GSF οἰκίαN1A-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM πίμπλημιVA-AAD2PRA-APM μάρσιπποςN2-APMRA-GPM ἄνθρωποςN2-GPM βρῶμαN3M-GPN ὅσοςA1-APN ἐάνC δύναμαιV6-PMS3P αἴρωVA-AAN καίC ἐνβάλλωVA-AAD2P ἕκαστοςA1-GSMRA-ASN ἀργύριονN2N-ASN ἐπίPRA-GSN στόμαN3M-GSNRA-GSM μάρσιπποςN2-GSM [1]And he commandeth him who [is] over his house, saying, `Fill the bags of the men [with] food, as they are able to bear, and put the money of each in the mouth of his bag;

[6]εὑρίσκωVB-AAPNSM δέX αὐτόςRD-APM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM κατάPRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN οὗτοςRD-APN [6]And he overtaketh them, and speaketh unto them these words,
[7]RA-NPM δέX εἶπονVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM ἵναC τίςRI-ASN λαλέωV2-PAI3SRA-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM κατάPRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN οὗτοςRD-APN μήD γίγνομαιVB-AMO3SRA-DPM παῖςN3D-DPM σύRP-GS ποιέωVA-AAN κατάPRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN [7]and they say unto him, `Why doth my lord speak according to these words? far be it from thy servants to do according to this word;
[8]εἰCRA-ASN μένX ἀργύριονN2N-ASN ὅςRR-ASN εὑρίσκωVB-AAI1P ἐνPRA-DPM μάρσιπποςN2-DPM ἐγώRP-GP ἀποστρέφωVAI-AAI1P πρόςP σύRP-AS ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *χαναανN--GS πῶςD ἄνX κλέπτωVA-AAO1P ἐκPRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSMRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ἀργύριονN2N-ASNC χρυσίονN2N-ASN [8]lo, the money which we found in the mouth of our bags we brought back unto thee from the land of Canaan, and how do we steal from the house of thy lord silver or gold?
[9]παράP ὅςRR-DSM ἄνX εὑρίσκωVC-APS3SRA-NSN κόνδυN3-NSNRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM σύRP-GS ἀποθνήσκωV1-PAD3S καίC ἐγώRP-NP δέX εἰμίVF-FMI1P παῖςN3D-NPMRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP [9]with whomsoever of thy servants it is found, he hath died, and we also are to my lord for servants.'
[10]RA-NSM δέX εἶπονVBI-AAI3S καίC νῦνD ὡςC λέγωV1-PAI2P οὕτωςD εἰμίVF-FMI3SRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM παράP ὅςRR-DSM ἄνX εὑρίσκωVC-APS3SRA-NSN κόνδυN3-NSN αὐτόςRD-NSM εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐγώRP-GS παῖςN3D-NSM σύRP-NP δέX εἰμίVF-FMI2P καθαρόςA1A-NPM [10]And he saith, `Now, also, according to your words, so it [is]; he with whom it is found becometh my servant, and ye are acquitted;'
[11]καίC σπεύδωVAI-AAI3P καίC κατααἱρέωVAI-AAI3P ἕκαστοςA1-NSMRA-ASM μάρσιπποςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίPRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC ἀναοἴγωVAI-AAI3P ἕκαστοςA1-NSMRA-ASM μάρσιπποςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM [11]and they hasten and take down each his bag to the earth, and each openeth his bag;
[12]ἐρευνάωV3I-IAI3S δέX ἀπόPRA-GSM πρεσβύτεροςA1A-GSMC ἄρχωVA-AMPNSM ἕωςC ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐπίPRA-ASM νέοςA1A-ASMC καίC εὑρίσκωVB-AAI3SRA-ASN κόνδυN3-ASN ἐνPRA-DSM μάρσιπποςN2-DSMRA-DSM *βενιαμίνN--GSM [12]and he searcheth -- at the eldest he hath begun, and at the youngest he hath completed -- and the cup is found in the bag of Benjamin;
[13]καίC διαῥήγνυμιVAI-AAI3PRA-APN ἱμάτιονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπιτίθημιVHI-AAI3P ἕκαστοςA1-NSMRA-ASM μάρσιπποςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίPRA-ASM ὄνοςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3P εἰςPRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF [13]and they rend their garments, and each ladeth his ass, and they turn back to the city.
[14]εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX *ἰούδαςN--NSM καίCRA-NPM ἀδελφόςN2-NPM αὐτόςRD-GSM πρόςP *ιωσηφN--ASM ἔτιD αὐτόςRD-GSM εἰμίV9-PAPGSM ἐκεῖD καίC πίπτωVBI-AAI3P ἐναντίονP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίPRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF [14]And Judah -- his brethren also -- cometh in unto the house of Joseph, and he is yet there, and they fall before him to the earth;
[15]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DPM *ιωσηφN--NSM τίςRI-NSNRA-NSN πρᾶγμαN3M-NSN οὗτοςRD-NSN ὅςRR-ASN ποιέωVAI-AAI2P οὐD οἶδαVX-XAI2P ὅτιC οἰωνισμόςN2-DSM οἰωνίζομαιVF2-FMI3S ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM οἷοςA1A-NSM ἐγώRP-NS [15]and Joseph saith to them, `What [is] this deed that ye have done? have ye not known that a man like me doth diligently observe?'
[16]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX *ἰούδαςN--NSM τίςRI-ASN ἀντιεἶπονVF2-FAI1PRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSMC τίςRI-ASN λαλέωVA-AAS1PC τίςRI-ASN δικαιόωVC-APS1PRA-NSM δέX θεόςN2-NSM εὑρίσκωVB-AAI3SRA-ASF ἀδικίαN1A-ASFRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM σύRP-GS ἰδούI εἰμίV9-PAI1P οἰκέτηςN1M-NPMRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP καίC ἐγώRP-NP καίC παράP ὅςRR-DSM εὑρίσκωVC-API3SRA-NSN κόνδυN3-NSN [16]And Judah saith, `What do we say to my lord? what do we speak? and what -- do we justify ourselves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants; lo, we [are] servants to my lord, both we, and he in whose hand the cup hath been found;'
[17]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX *ιωσηφN--NSM μήD ἐγώRP-DS γίγνομαιVB-AMO3S ποιέωVA-AANRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASNRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM παράP ὅςRR-DSM εὑρίσκωVC-API3SRA-NSN κόνδυN3-NSN αὐτόςRD-NSM εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐγώRP-GS παῖςN3D-NSM σύRP-NP δέX ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAD2P μετάP σωτηρίαN1A-GSF πρόςPRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM σύRP-GP [17]and he saith, `Far be it from me to do this; the man in whose hand the cup hath been found, he becometh my servant; and ye, go ye up in peace unto your father.'
[18]ἐγγίζωVA-AAPNSM δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM *ἰούδαςN--NSM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέομαιV1-PMI1S κύριοςN2-VSM λαλέωVA-AAD3SRA-NSM παῖςN3D-NSM σύRP-GS ῥῆμαN3M-ASN ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS καίC μήD θυμόωVC-APS2SRA-DSM παῖςN3D-DSM σύRP-GS ὅτιC σύRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI2S μετάP *φαραώN--GSM [18]And Judah cometh nigh unto him, and saith, `O, my lord, let thy servant speak, I pray thee, a word in the ears of my lord, and let not thine anger burn against thy servant -- for thou art as Pharaoh.
[19]κύριοςN2-VSM σύRP-NS ἐρωτάωVAI-AAI2SRA-APM παῖςN3D-APM σύRP-GS λέγωV1-PAPNSM εἰC ἔχωV1-PAI2P πατήρN3-ASMC ἀδελφόςN2-ASM [19]My lord hath asked his servants, saying, Have ye a father or brother?
[20]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1PRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐγώRP-DP πατήρN3-NSM πρεσβύτεροςA1A-NSMC καίC παιδίονN2N-NSN γῆραςN3-GSN νέοςA1A-NSNC αὐτόςRD-DSM καίCRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀποθνήσκωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-NSM δέX μόνοςA1-NSM ὑπολείπωVVI-API3SRA-DSF μήτηρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NSM δέX πατήρN3-NSM αὐτόςRD-ASM ἀγαπάωVAI-AAI3S [20]and we say unto my lord, We have a father, an aged one, and a child of old age, a little one; and his brother died, and he is left alone of his mother, and his father hath loved him.
[21]εἶπονVAI-AAI2S δέXRA-DPM παῖςN3D-DPM σύRP-GS καταἄγωVB-AAD2P αὐτόςRD-ASM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS καίC ἐπιμελέομαιV2-PMI1S αὐτόςRD-GSM [21]`And thou sayest unto thy servants, Bring him down unto me, and I set mine eye upon him;
[22]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1PRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM οὐD δύναμαιVF-FMI3SRA-NSN παιδίονN2N-NSN καταλείπωVB-AANRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM ἐάνC δέX καταλείπωVB-AAS3SRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM ἀποθνήσκωVF2-FMI3S [22]and we say unto my lord, The youth is not able to leave his father, when he hath left his father, then he hath died;
[23]σύRP-NS δέX εἶπονVAI-AAI2SRA-DPM παῖςN3D-DPM σύRP-GS ἐάνC μήD κατβαίνωVZ-AAS3SRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM σύRP-GPRA-NSM νέοςA1A-NSMC μετάP σύRP-GP οὐD προςτίθημιVF-FMI2P ἔτιD ὁράωVB-AANRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-GS [23]and thou sayest unto thy servants, If your young brother come not down with you, ye add not to see my face.
[24]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX ἡνίκαD ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI1P πρόςPRA-ASM παῖςN3D-ASM σύRP-GS πατήρN3-ASM δέX ἐγώRP-GP ἀποἀγγέλλωVAI-AAI1P αὐτόςRD-DSMRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APNRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM [24]`And it cometh to pass, that we have come up unto thy servant my father, that we declare to him the words of my lord;
[25]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX ἐγώRP-DPRA-NSM πατήρN3-NSM ἐγώRP-GP βαδίζωVA-AAD2P πάλινD ἀγοράζωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-DP μικρόςA1A-APN βρῶμαN3M-APN [25]and our father saith, Turn back, buy for us a little food,
[26]ἐγώRP-NP δέX εἶπονVAI-AAI1P οὐD δύναμαιVF-FMI1P καταβαίνωVZ-AAN ἀλλάC εἰC μένXRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GPRA-NSM νέοςA1A-NSMC καταβαίνωV1-PAI3S μετάP ἐγώRP-GP καταβαίνωVF-FMI1P οὐD γάρX δύναμαιVF-FMI1P ὁράωVB-AANRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASNRA-GSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSMRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSMRA-GSM νέοςA1A-GSMC μήD εἰμίV9-PAPGSM μετάP ἐγώRP-GP [26]and we say, We are not able to go down; if our young brother is with us, then we have gone down; for we are not able to see the man's face, and our young brother not with us.
[27]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέXRA-NSM παῖςN3D-NSM σύRP-GSRA-NSM πατήρN3-NSM ἐγώRP-GP πρόςP ἐγώRP-AP σύRP-NP γιγνώσκωV1-PAI2P ὅτιC δύοM τίκτωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-DSRA-NSF γυνήN3K-NSF [27]`And thy servant my father saith unto us, Ye -- ye have known that two did my wife bare to me,
[28]καίC ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3SRA-NSM εἷςA3-NSM ἀπόP ἐγώRP-GS καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI2P ὅτιC θηριοβρώτοςA1B-NSM γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S καίC οὐD ὁράωVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἔτιD καίC νῦνD [28]and the one goeth out from me, and I say, Surely he is torn -- torn! and I have not seen him since;

[31]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνPRA-DSN ὁράωVB-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASM μήD εἰμίV9-PAPASNRA-ASN παιδάριονN2N-ASN μετάP ἐγώRP-GP τελευτάωVF-FAI3S καίC καταἄγωVF-FAI3PRA-NPM παῖςN3D-NPM σύRP-GSRA-ASN γῆραςN3-ASNRA-GSM παῖςN3D-GSM σύRP-GS πατήρN3-GSM δέX ἐγώRP-GP μετάP ὀδύνηN1-GSF εἰςP ᾅδηςN1M-GSM [31]then it hath come to pass when he seeth that the youth is not, that he hath died, and thy servants have brought down the grey hairs of thy servant our father with sorrow to sheol;
[32]RA-NSM γάρX παῖςN3D-NSM σύRP-GS ἐκδέχομαιVK-XMI3SRA-ASN παιδίονN2N-ASN παράPRA-GSM πατήρN3-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἐάνC μήD ἄγωVB-AAS1S αὐτόςRD-ASM πρόςP σύRP-AS καίC ἵστημιVA-AAS1S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS ἁμαρτάνωVX-XAPNSM εἰμίVF-FMI1S πρόςPRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM πᾶςA1S-APFRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF [32]for thy servant obtained the youth by surety from my father, saying, If I bring him not in unto thee -- then I have sinned against my father all the days.
[33]νῦνD οὖνX παραμένωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-DS παῖςN3D-NSM ἀντίPRA-GSN παιδίονN2N-GSN οἰκέτηςN1M-NSMRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSMRA-NSN δέX παιδίονN2N-NSN ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAD3S μετάPRA-GPM ἀδελφόςN2-GPM [33]`And now, let thy servant, I pray thee, abide instead of the youth a servant to my lord, and the youth goeth up with his brethren,
[34]πῶςD γάρX ἀναβαίνωVF-FMI1S πρόςPRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASMRA-GSN παιδίονN2N-GSN μήD εἰμίV9-PAPGSN μετάP ἐγώRP-GP ἵναC μήD ὁράωVB-AAS1SRA-APN κακόςA1-APN ὅςRR-NPN εὑρίσκωVF-FAI3SRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM ἐγώRP-GS [34]for how do I go up unto my father, and the youth not with me? lest I look on the evil which doth find my father.'
