[1]In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. |
| [2]And it shall come to pass in that dayH3117, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, that I will cut offH3772[H8686] the namesH8034 of the idolsH6091 out of the landH776, and they shall no more be rememberedH2142[H8735]: and also I will cause the prophetsH5030 and the uncleanH2932 spiritH7307 to passH5674[H8686] out of the landH776. |
[2]And in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land: and they shall no more be remembered: and I will cause the prophets, and the unclean spirit to depart out of the land. |
| [3]And it shall come to pass, that when anyH376 shall yet prophesyH5012[H8735], then his fatherH1 and his motherH517 that begatH3205[H8802] him shall sayH559[H8804] unto him, Thou shalt not liveH2421[H8799]; for thou speakestH1696[H8765] liesH8267 in the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068: and his fatherH1 and his motherH517 that begatH3205[H8802] him shall thrustH1856[H8804] him through when he prophesiethH5012.[H8736] |
[3]And when any shall yet prophesy, his father and his mother that begat him, shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live: for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him, shall thrust him through, when he prophesieth. |
| [4]And it shall come to pass in that dayH3117, that the prophetsH5030 shall be ashamedH954[H8799] every oneH376 of his visionH2384, when he hath prophesiedH5012[H8736]; neither shall they wearH3847[H8799] a roughH8181 garmentH155 to deceiveH3584:[H8763] |
[4]And in that day shall the prophets be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied: neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive. |
| [5]But he shall sayH559[H8804], I am no prophetH5030, I am an husbandmanH376[H5647][H8802][H127]; for manH120 taught me to keep cattleH7069[H8689] from my youthH5271. |
[5]But he shall say, I am no prophet: I am an husbandman: for man taught me to be an herdsman from my youth up. |
| [6]And one shall sayH559[H8804] unto him, What are these woundsH4347 in thine handsH3027? Then he shall answerH559[H8804], Those with which I was woundedH5221[H8717] in the houseH1004 of my friendsH157.[H8764] |
[6]And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Thus was I wounded in the house of my friends. |
| [7]AwakeH5782[H8798], O swordH2719, against my shepherdH7462[H8802], and against the manH1397 that is my fellowH5997, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: smiteH5221[H8685] the shepherdH7462[H8802], and the sheepH6629 shall be scatteredH6327[H8799]: and I will turnH7725[H8689] mine handH3027 upon the little onesH6819.[H8802] |
[7]Arise, O sword, upon my shepherd, and upon the man, that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. |
| [8]And it shall come to pass, that in all the landH776, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068, twoH8147 partsH6310 therein shall be cut offH3772[H8735] and dieH1478[H8799]; but the thirdH7992 shall be leftH3498 thereinH8735. |
[8]And in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off, and die: but the third shall be left therein. |

[9]And I will bring that third part through the fire, and will fine them as the silver is fined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people, and they shall say, The Lord is my God. |
