[1]FOR we know that if our earthly house of this body were dissolved, we have nevertheless a building that is by Aloha; a house which is not made with hands, in the heaven, eternal. |
[1]We know for that if our house that in earth this of the body will be destroyed but there is for us a building that is from Alaha a house without the work of hands in Heaven for eternity |
[2]For concerning this also we groan, and long to put on our house which is from heaven, |
[2]Also concerning this for we are made to groan and we long to wear our house that is from Heaven |
[3]If, when that we have clothed, we may not be found naked. |
[3]If not also whenever we are clothed we shall be found to us naked |
[4]For now while we are in this house, we groan from the weight of it: yet are we not willing to cast it off, but to be clothed upon of it, that its mortality might be swallowed up in life. |
[4]When we being for now in this house we are made to groan from its weight and not we want to strip it but to put on over it that may be swallowed its mortality by Life |
[5]And he who prepareth us for this is Aloha, who hath given to us the earnest-pledge of his Spirit. |
[5]And He Who prepares us for it for this is Alaha He it is Who gives us the down payment of His Spirit |
[6]For therefore do we know and are persuaded, that so long as we remain in the body we are in pilgrimage from our Lord. |
[6]Because we know therefore and we are convinced as long as in the body we dwell we are away from home from our Lord |
[7]For by faith we walk, and not by sight. |
[7]By faith it is for we walk and not by sight |
[8]On this account we confide, and long to pass awayⓘ from the body, and to be with our Lord. |
[8]Because of this we trust and we long to depart from the body and to be with our Lord |
[9]We give diligence, that whether we are pilgrims or inhabitants, we may be pleasing unto Him. |
[9]We are diligent that if away from home we are or if an inhabitant to Him we may be pleasing |
[10]For we are all to stand before the tribunal of the Meshiha, that every man may be recompensed in his body [for] that which is done in it, whether of good or of evil. |
[10]We all for we are going to stand before the throne of The Messiah that will be paid each man in his body anything that was done by him if of good or if of evil |
[11]THEREFORE, because we know the terror of our Lord, we persuade men; and to Aloha we are manifest; but I hope that to your minds also we are manifest. |
[11]Because we know therefore the awesomeness of our Lord the children of men it is we persuade to Alaha but we are revealed hope I but that also to your understanding yours we are revealed |
[12]For we commendⓘ not ourselves again to you, but we give you cause to be boastful of us to them who in appearance boast, but not in heart. |
[12]Not it has been again ourselves we praise to you but occasion it is we give to you that you may be boasting in us in the presence of those who in appearance it is they are boasting and not in the heart |
[13]For if we be beside ourselves, [it is] unto Aloha; and if we be right,ⓘ [it is] unto you. |
[13]If for we are insane it is for Alaha and if we are conventional for you |
[14]For the love of the Meshiha constraineth us, because we judge this, That if one for every man hath died, then [was] every man dead. |
[14]The love for of The Messiah compels us that we reason this that One in the place of every person died so then every person died with Him |
[15]And for every man he died, that they who live should not live to themselves, but to him who on their behalf died and arose. |
[15]And in the place of every person He died that those who live not for themselves would live but for The One Who Who for their persons died and arose |
[16]And henceforth we no man know according to the flesh;ⓘ and if we have known the Meshiha according to the flesh,ⓘ yet from now we know not. |
[16]And from now we a person by the body not we know and if we have known in the body The Messiah but from now not we know |
[17]Whoever therefore is in the Meshiha is a new creature; the old things have passed, |
[17]All that which in The Messiah is therefore the creation is new the old order has passed away with such |
[18]And every thing hath become new from Aloha, who hath reconciled us to himself in the Meshiha, and given to us the ministry of reconciliation. |
[18]And every thing has become new from Alaha He Who reconciled us to Himself by The Messiah and He has given us the ministry of the reconciliation |
[19]For Aloha is in the Meshiha, who hath reconciled the world with his greatness; and he hath not reckoned unto them their sins, and hath put in us the word of reconciliation. |
[19]Alaha was for in The Messiah He Who reconciled the universe with His majesty and not accounted to them their sins and He has placed in us our own message of the reconciliation |
[20]WE are ambassadors then for the Meshiha, and as if Aloha himself besought you by us: instead of the Meshiha,ⓘ therefore, we beseech, Be you reconciled unto Aloha. |
[20]Ambassabors we are therefore in the place of The Messiah and as if He Who is Alaha requested of you by us in the place of The Messiah therefore we beseech be reconciled to Alaha |
[21]For Him who knew not sin, on our account hath he made sin, that we might be in him the righteousness of Aloha. |
[21]He for Who not known had sin in your place sin made Himself that we would become by Him the righteousness of Alaha |
