KJV+
[1]Come, and let us return to the Lord: for he hath spoiled, and he will heal us: he hath wounded us, and he will bind us up. [1]ComeH3212[H8798], and let us returnH7725[H8799] unto the LORDH3068: for he hath tornH2963[H8804], and he will healH7495[H8799] us; he hath smittenH5221[H8686], and he will bind us upH2280.[H8799]
[2]After two days will he revive us, and in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. [2]After two daysH3117 will he reviveH2421[H8762] us: in the thirdH7992 dayH3117 he will raise us upH6965[H8686], and we shall liveH2421[H8799] in his sightH6440.
[3]Then shall we have knowledge, and endeavor ourselves to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning, and he shall come unto us as the rain, and as the latter rain unto the earth. [3]Then shall we knowH3045[H8799], if we followH7291[H8799] on to knowH3045[H8800] the LORDH3068: his going forthH4161 is preparedH3559[H8737] as the morningH7837; and he shall comeH935[H8799] unto us as the rainH1653, as the latterH4456 and former rainH3384[H8802] unto the earthH776.
[4]O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, how shall I entreat thee? For your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the morning dew it goeth away. [4]O EphraimH669, what shall I doH6213[H8799] unto thee? O JudahH3063, what shall I doH6213[H8799] unto thee? for your goodnessH2617 is as a morningH1242 cloudH6051, and as the earlyH7925[H8688] dewH2919 it goeth awayH1980.[H8802]
[5]Therefore have I cut down by the prophets: I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and thy judgments were as the light that goeth forth. [5]Therefore have I hewedH2672[H8804] them by the prophetsH5030; I have slainH2026[H8804] them by the wordsH561 of my mouthH6310: and thy judgmentsH4941 are as the lightH216 that goeth forthH3318.[H8799]
[6]For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. [6]For I desiredH2654[H8804] mercyH2617, and not sacrificeH2077; and the knowledgeH1847 of GodH430 more than burnt offeringsH5930.
[7]But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they trespassed against me. [7]But they like menH120 have transgressedH5674[H8804] the covenantH1285: there have they dealt treacherouslyH898 against meH8804.
[8]Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood. [8]GileadH1568 is a cityH7151 of them that workH6466[H8802] iniquityH205, and is pollutedH6121 with bloodH1818.
[9]And as the thieves wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they work mischief. [9]And as troopsH1416 of robbers waitH2442[H8763] for a manH376, so the companyH2267 of priestsH3548 murderH7523[H8762] in the wayH1870 by consentH7926[H8677][H7927]: for they commitH6213[H8804] lewdnessH2154.
[10]I have seen villainy in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim: Israel is defiled. [10]I have seenH7200[H8804] an horrible thingH8186 in the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478: there is the whoredomH2184 of EphraimH669, IsraelH3478 is defiledH2930.[H8738]
[11]Yea, Judah hath set a plant for thee, whiles I would return the captivity of my people. [11]Also, O JudahH3063, he hath setH7896[H8804] an harvestH7105 for thee, when I returnedH7725[H8800] the captivityH7622 of my peopleH5971.
