[2]In salicibus in medio ejus suspendimus organa nostra; [2]Give thanks to the God of gods; for his mercy endures for ever.
[3]quia illic interrogaverunt nos, qui captivos duxerunt nos, verba cantionum; et qui abduxerunt nos: Hymnum cantate nobis de canticis Sion. [3]Give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endures for ever.
[4]Quomodo cantabimus canticum Domini in terra aliena? [4]To him who along has wrought great wonders: for his mercy endures for ever.
